Did you notice that the tie rod castellated nut was loose when he removed the cotter pin? It was moving as he removed the cotter pin - he didn't need a wrench !

Hope it got a new zerk grease fitting and some grease. The welding temp probably didn't help the temper of the spring. Good work!

But he used new cotter pins. I'm not a welder, buuttt it seems to me that the welder is to high for what he was welding.
