like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, kzbin.infoUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

I presume since you already had another dot, you didn't have to do a full set up.... having to know your home Wifi pass code, etc, right? Also, I have an Iphone 7plus, and a Windows10 PC, can I still do a full set up? Finally, I have a Google Smartspeaker ("hey google"). Appointments, Calendar, Setting Reminders, & accessing telephone contacts can only be accessed by ONE VOICE. So voice recognition is a problem! I'm ok with the whole house having access. I’m right next my Echo Dot gen 3 and the only way I can get it to do a command is by pressing the action button. If I don’t press the action button and tell Alexa to do something light comes on briefly and nothing happens. It’s annoying

yesterday i bought this speaker, after an hours trying solving problems connecting to wifi and linking it to spotify everything works fine, today the device in the morning i play spotify and sounds chopping, nothings wrong with my internet, i decided to reset my echo dot 3, now its stuck in orange light and saying said "updating device ill let you know when its ready?" its already over 2 hours... should i wait? this speaker really super annoying in connection.
