Sir, something tells me you didn't learn all the Alexa voice commands for the TV in the first place. And you give command after command. Slow down friend. The one thing I agree with you is that you can't compare the hardware and software of an Apple TV to any existing onboard TV software and apps being Google TV or Roku. Stick with the Apple TV if you want top notch quality with no ads and hassle.

Jumping between saying “ALEXA” and then saying “the A word” drove me nuts. Do one or the other so I know if I need to mute my Alexa devices.

You can control your Apple TV with it go into settings and then Input and Control other devices and CEC and enable control other devices

I don't know how long you have been doing this or how tech savy your are but it would help if you set up your tv PRIOR to making the video. To include Alexa.. I mean it only takes a few minutes as my voice command has worked flawlessly since day one with every member of my household, You have to make sure that you have a solid wifi or hardwire for internet and the tv has to be in standby in order for the Alexa wake word to be recognized,

That tv sucks I had to contact Amazon to send me another because Alexa stop working for a day and the the next day it started to work , that bright led light on tv is annoying at night how do I turn that off ?
