Is it necessary to shut off the keyboard every time? I think the tablet shuts itself off when you close it?

haha It's funny, I wondered the same thing until one day, I left it on and didn't come back to it for a few weeks. The charge was still good. So, it appears the keyboard shuts down after inactivity. Now, I leave the keyboard on all the time. I rarely charge it, and I mean I may have charged it twice since I first picked it up.

Oddly enough, it’s taken a beating and is still working fine. I’ve only charged it twice since first getting it, so it holds a charge. That’s despite having it on all the time. I just forget. Haha

You'll need something specific. Though I'm sure you can find something from Logitech that works with tablets.

I don’t think so. The size is marginally smaller on the 2021 model.

Is there only one position when clicked into the keyboard? And can the tablet be paired to the keyboard without being clicked together, so that I can lean it back for a better angle?

Yes, the tablet remains paired even when not docked. And, it obviously closes a little, but the farthest it open it’s just a little past 90 degrees. Probably my biggest qualm.

alright, im hoping for an answer for this but probably won’t get one as of how old the video is. im planning on getting one of these, but don’t know what keyboard on getting, my 2 choices are getting either this fintie keyboard by amazon, or getting one of those Bluetooth keyboards that have a magnetic back that magnetically attaches on to a magnetic case, which one should I get?

The video isn't THAT old. haha And, I'm not too sure. I love the keyboard I shared in this video and haven't had a need to find anything else. It works great and holds a charge for a long time.

I sent my table back. The camera was terrible and with fast action movie movements it keep trying to catch up with jitters. Amazon needs to put $40-50 more in the table to make it decent.

Well i got this for christmas so i didint need to worry about spending any money, now i see if its as good as says it is. I mean i saw negative comments in reviews and im hoping im not one of those people that got a faulty one. Tried it last few days and i do like it, kind akward at first when trying use it but quick to adapt. Know in months coming how well it last. How long you had yours if i may ask?

I've had it since Sept. 10, 2021 and used it a LOT ever since. The battery power is pretty stellar. I've only charged it once since I got it. Heck, I even leave it on all the time. It must go into sleep mode after a bit. The only issue I have is when it wakes from sleep, it takes about three seconds to connect to the Fire 10. But, that's just being nitpicky. I hope it lasts and agree with you about the reviews. That's too bad they produced faulty keyboards.

@@therealjunkdrawer Yeah ever now and again when buy something i happen to get a faulty product. Very rare but it happens. But often and not i get refund and/or get a new version of product it ends up being way better.

Someone who bought the keyboard and after a few months is having problems with the keys, especially in the region of the letter H? I have researched and it seems that it is a recurring problem, will Fintie fix this project error? A user disassembled it seems that the H region is pressing the flat cable that is under this region. I hope it gets to them.

Interesting. I've used the heck outta my keyboard since this video and have no issues. Keep in mind, I'm a writer by trade, so that tells you how much abuse it goes through. Thanks for sharing. I hope it helps someone.

Recently the keyboard is unresponsive. I mean i turn it on the light comes on and when i press Fn and C it shows the keyboard is connecting to the tablet. But some reason its not typing and i cant find anywhere online for a trouble shoot for such a problem. Not sure if you encountered the same problem but if did, did you find a solution for it? I really like this keyboard, i had it since last year, its the only keyboard type that i like compared to others on the market.

I'm surprised aren't more detachable keyboards like this for all tablets. I do prefer the keyboard over the touch screen but not fan of folio or other keyboard types for tablet. The finite this far is my favorite. So I might get another or see if if another detachable keyboard for the fire HD plus 10 tablet

A silly yet valid question... Is there only one version of the Fire HD 10 Plus or are there different versions for different global areas? I use Apple products. As there are many versions available for various parts of the world, I’m careful that I use American version Apple products. Currently, I live and work in China 🇨🇳. “The Great Firewall” really makes life extremely difficult as far as internet is concerned. I was in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 for ten years, and “The Theocratic Firewall” was twice as bad. My only savior was and is a VPN and an American/British version of iPhone. As you’re aware, COVID has made life very restrictive. I haven’t been home in four years. Also, a Chinese friend of mine has the Chinese version of Amazon, and is unable to find the Fire HD 10 Plus. Thank you 🙏
