I've been doing polygel nails and recently started using the beetles brand, it's SO good. It sticks on my nails like crazy, no lifting. Literally the ONLY issue I had with it is I forgot the base coat of gel on a thumb and it just popped off but since then I haven't had any issues. I've also been wanting this set of gels

I have six of beetles gel polish and I love them. I tried their polygel kit and I didn't care for it but I think it's a combination of my inexperience with polygel and my preference to just paint my natural nail. Either way this was a great video! The polishes were gorgeous and you have such a pristine way of painting your nails that makes it satisfying to watch.

I've switched to wearing only gel polish and I bought this set back in March and I've been loving it! Currently wearing 854 topped with 855 on my toes lol. They're a great and affordable brand and if you're not against buying on Amazon, they are constantly running % off specials on there. I think my set was 50% off when I bought it a couple of months ago, but they're totally worth it at full price. Now I'm eyeing the Midnight Euphoria kit because it's just 😍🤩😍 Edit - Kelli, you should try their Iridescent Jelly set. It's 6 full size jelly gel polishes in rainbow colors and they all have the same fine holo glitter running through them. They're soooooooo pretty!

I love your reviews and am always so excited to see a gel review! I can't ever keep my hands still enough for regular nail polish to dry without getting ruined 😅 but got really into gels. My go-to has become Madam Glam but this review made me really want that Beetles kit. I love all the colors! And it's perfect for my sister who adores mermaids! Unfortunately the orange is not actually included in the kit. In the kit that everyone else has gotten, myself included, it is a foiled gold color. Not sure if she didn't mix it well, as you need to with glitter gels, or if she got a different polish for some reason. There is a similar issue with many of the polishes in this video not matching the actual kit. The silver one in the video is nothing like the foiled silver one in the kit. The purples in this video are also dramatically different than the kit.

All of the blues in this collection are giving me like 2012 summer vibes 😂 I love it lol they also remind me of China Glaze’s “Too Yacht To Handle” which reminds me I really need to add that to my collection. I’ve used the beetles dip sets…. They work great and you get a ton of colors. I would top with a gel or regular topcoat though, the one that comes with it is fine but not the shiniest.

Wow. I bought this set back in September of last year and I’m STILL in love with this set. It’s crazy though because 858 & 859 in your set is completely different from mine. 858 is a silver glitter and 859 is a gold glitter. They are the same type of glitter as 857. I love how 859 looks in your set. So unique. I’ll have to buy the set again.

Honestly I just do the same cleanup as I do with regular polish when it's needed! Just a bit of acetone and a cleanup brush before curing - I've got a video on it using regular polish but it's the same process for me!

Hey Kelli!!! I was just wondering if you still use the Le Mini Macaroon method for removing gels, or if it's changed? I didn't know if that method with the clips and Le Mini Macaroon acetone pads word with gels that need a top and base coat, or if they're too thick for the pads. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

For gel videos, I use the FUN Lacquer gel peel off base coat! For regular lacquer videos, I don't use peel off :)

How did you like the matte top coat? I feel like Matte top coats never work as well as glossy as far as protecting the mani long term... but I wonder if a gel matte top coat would work better.

I actually really like their gel matte top coat! It definitely has longer lasting power that regular matte haha, my regular matte manis never last very long 😅

What’s the best way to remove gels? I’ve had a hard time getting them off without soaking, grinding, and ruining my nails. But I love these colors!

Apply acetone to a cotton ball, or lint free wipe, place it on each nail and wrap nails in aluminum - wait 20 minutes. There should be no scraping. 🥰

I use peel off base coat and I get 7-10 days of wear. Mine don't pop off easy like what's shown at the end of this video. But they do come off with some patient work with an orange stick and water/cuticle oil, and a lot less damage to my nails than soaking and filing. I've recently started using the peel off base coat on top of Orly bonder to cause even less damage to my nails when I remove and that's working well. So I go Orly bonder, ASP peel off base coat, regular gel base coat, however many layers of color needed and then a gel top coat. A couple extra steps but I don't mind.
