Thank you! Yes, I agree with being cautious about review services. There are other options as well. For someone with a list, they can get ARC reviews, and there are Amazon-approved review services as well. Using a review service does approach the grey line, as I mention in the video, but many people do use them and benefit from them. Good luck to you too!

Pubby is not safe according to the alliance of independent authors. Do you know anything about vine reviews can we submit an ebook into that?

Vine is pay to play, as is Pubby. The only difference is that one is sanctioned by Amazon, the other is tolerated by Amazon. The problem we all face is: how do we get social proof in time for a book launch? The traditional way is to pay for editorial reviews and to send out ARCs (advance review copies) to a list of readers. I've found that editorial reviews can be expensive, slow and cumbersome. I've also found that ARC reviews don't always get accepted by Amazon, for reasons as mysterious to me as life itself. I see Pubby (and other similar services) as a necessary evil, and there is risk, which is why I recommend caution. I also only use these services for a very small percentage of my reviews (about 1%), and let my books accrue organic reviews over time. If Amazon decides Pubby reviews are no longer tolerated, then I will lose a small number of reviews. Thanks for the comment. I know very little about Vine other than it's an Amazon service to buy reviews and it's too slow for a launch.
