Amazon Luna's Update Is Massive

If Destiny 2 gets included, I would for sure use Luna since it’s an online-only game anyways that isn’t worth the 100+ GB storage just for assets and content imo. I’m personally hoping they do the same thing as Nvidia did where they allow the use of different game providers so Luna isn’t just its own service for particular games.

Luna already has replaced Stadia, as Stadia is DEAD and Google never cared about it as much as Amazon has focused on growing Amazon Luna. Not to mention, Luna is still around and Amazon is still continuing to grow and expand Luna's capabilities.

GOG is a much better service than Steam, especially since the games are DRM-Free and Steam/Valve have already stated that they can take away the games anytime they see fit.

I am new to Amazon Luna and cloud gaming. Currently i use it and the vast majority of the time. I don't have any issues with lag, when it does happen most of the time it is minor issues. Overall I am impressed with Amazon Luna and the overall service.

I play Division 2 on Luna and love it, but they should look into adding call of duty, Battlefield,..... if they want to attract more gamers.

I swear I was going to send you a comment about Luna today. Having said that, I just realized I can buy Ubisoft games that are mine and play them on Luna and I'm having a great time. Luna probably plays better than Stadia did. May not look better but it plays better

They’re the cloud gaming dark horse, for sure! GFN and cloud made cloud gaming a bit more mainstream than it was, but Luna is holding its own! I’d love to see them build a community by integrating/adding features to Twitch, but they’re doing well!

Great tip about the free GOG games that work on Luna. I'd already bought Outer Range in the GOG sale to play on Luna, but managed to snag some others for free. Really liking Luna. I don't own a console anymore as I wasn't getting enough use from it, so I sold it. Luna fills that gap nicely, especially as I pay for Prime anyway. Using it with an old Xbox one controller on a symmetric gigabit connection, and it's a joy to use. 🙂

Luna's insane input lag makes it unplayable for me, and makes no sense, im running on a 5g network, graphic settings to min, and its something like 500ms input lag, which is ridiculous

I have an ideal internet setup, but Luna has always performed terribly. As mad as I am at Nvidia for the 100-hour cap thing coming up, it's still hard to beat their quality. I play a ton of Fortnite via GFN Ultimate, and really tried to give Luna an honest shot, and it just isn't there. Glad to see they're still working on it at the very least.

Until the latency for third-party controllers is fixed. LUNA is trash. All of the Fallouts are unplayable with an Xbox controller or any other controller. Not buying a Luna paddle just because they refuse to support other controllers.

I have no love for Luna. First, they try to charge me for a controller I returned then after reluctantly resubscribing, would not let me purchase A ubisoft game at discount. But had no problem taking my money for the luna subscription. At least they refunded everything. I promised them I would never try to subscribe again it's trash a few good games, though but I guess it's back to microsoft

Meh. After being burned by Stadia and not being that impressed with what I've seen in the past with Luna, I'll pass. Besides, the last thing I need is yet another service (a paid one at that) from Google *or* Amazon. At this point I'm trying to simplify my life, and that means cut down on accounts and services I don't need, and Luna is exactly the kind of thing I can do without. I prefer to run my games on my own hardware, without all the added latency.

Steam is better. Cloud gaming sucks ass. And also, just get PS5 for discs.
