I just opened an Amazon Prime card account because I shop Amazon all the time and with a credit score in the upper 700s and I also got the same $500 credit limit. It’s also my first Chase bank card of any kind as I wanted to enter the Chase credit eco system before the 5/24 rule kicks in. It’s a great card with great benefits if you’re an avid Amazon shopper, which I am, but this limit was off putting. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one to experience this and that I hope with time and full on time payments, I’ll be eligible for a credit limit increase. Great channel and keep up the good work!

I applied for the prime Visa card about 2 weeks ago and of course I had to call to see why I wasn’t approved or denied, so fast forward 2 weeks later I called and was finally approved for a whopping $14,100 which is by far the most I’ve been approved for which is baffling to see why you were only approved for $500 😮 and still got the $200 bonus

This card is a must-have in any wallet if you spend significant amounts on Amazon. The break-even point on this card is $3000 spent per year on this card to completely offset the Amazon Prime membership fee. Even though this card technically doesn't have an annual fee, I see the membership fee as the annual fee anyway. I always spend at least $4,000/year on Amazon within my household so this card is a no-brainer. Also, I like it when Chase offers elevated, targeted cashback offers like 5% back on dining or even 10% back on travel/gas. The gas one they had back during the 2022 holiday season was crazy because they had 10% back on up to $1,500 of spend. Plus, for those who don't have a dedicated travel card, this one isn't half-bad since it has no foreign transaction fees and it's a Visa so it will be accepted everywhere! Great video, Dayana! The 5% back on Whole Foods and 2% back on gas and restaurants made this the card I carry in my vehicle. I also didn't expect that it would be a metal card which is a nice touch. Looked at how much I would've saved if I had this card last year and the 5% back on Amazon would have saved me over $1,000! Wish I'd gotten one sooner.

What pisses me off about this card is that it has no 0 apr intro offer and YOU CANNOT get 5 percent on purchase with X months or special financing! This is just their store card with extra benefits (without the transfers). However, you could have the store card + the prime visa altogether. I recommend putting your big purchases with the prime visa card (for the special financing) , and small purchases with the store card (for the 5 percent points). I would only recommend this card if you're a student who's looking for a decent PC or Laptop for school and if you want to get into the chase ecosystem.

no, you don't! You can apply as a sole proprietor and for your "business" when you apply you can list an idea you have for a business and you can estimate what you believe your annual income will be for the first year.

So not exactly true. Even though Amazon Prime Visa doesn’t have transfer partners, if you partner this with one of the Chase Sapphire cards you can transfer the points from Prime Visa to Sapphire and maximize how you can use your points. Chase cards all play off each other, you just have to match up what cards work best for what you’re trying to accomplish.

Would be nice if instead the regular Amazon Visa earned 1.5% on purchases outside of Amazon or Whole Foods, and a slight bump up to 2% with the Prime Visa. In my opinion it makes it a better competitor of the Apple Card and PayPal Card.

Based on your info you gave they should have given you a much better limit i would have guessed. I just got approved for the prime visa and i have a 736 fico score and around a 748 vantage score, with (i think) 9-10 inquiries within the past 2 years. my income is about half yours and i got a 3k limit on mine. My history isn't that long with about 2 years of history and i have 6 cards to date. Although i do have about a average utilization of 3-7% usually, and my payment history is excellent (never missed a payment). i also don't carry balances. I'm not sure why they would approve you with such a low limit considering your history sounds better than mine.

For some reason I was actually approved for the prime version of the card when I applied despite never having a prime membership. I know because at the time the sign up bonus on the regular chase Amazon card was a $100gift card and the prime was a $200 gift card and I got the $200. On top of the emails specifying it was the prime card, plus the card itself with the prime design and all the paperwork that came with it.

Listening to your video blew my mind that the only thing you got was $500. That's amazing considering everything you said about how much money you made how many credit cards you had open and how much of it you were using . When they gave me the offer I got an instant 22,000 on my Chase Amazon credit card and I'm not saying I have bad credit my credit score was right up there with yours at 840. But to tell you the truth I can't see the difference between you and me and why would they give me that much credit on my credit card and my utilization was about 4% which again makes no sense in any case wish you a lot of luck like the video

@@ow5966 I kept trying to pay big chunks on my bill when there was more then enough money and I d get a message saying payment successful. 1 week later I get a message saying the payment bounced due to insufficient funds and they kept trying to get more money from my bank account . This happened almost 2-3 a month for 2 months with no clear explanation so I told em to F off and cancelled my shi. Screw amazon and chase bank man. Stuck with PayPal, no issues at all! With PayPal I can overpay as many times a month as I please with no hassle and they gladly accept it 👊🏻😎.

Hey, I believe you may be able to apply for the card with a temporary Prime membership. But when you cancel Prime, the rewards rate in its top categories will drop from 5% to 3%.
