Let me know if you need any questions about the SC14. I was kind of a pioneer back in the day. I even have engineering drawings for smaller 6PK pulleys. Just dont spin it too hard, you'll melt the Flourine Resin coating off.

@@recklessdrivinginsingapore I cant say for sure, but looking at the TX15P, it looks an exact copy of an SC14. They really are so ineffecient though. So much heat. Go Whipple or Turbo.

Have you considered placing the before the supercharger? would get rid of the need for a bov and it would sound alot less whiny when off throttle

When you get back into it dont rush. The guys at the RAD FACTORY have just put one of these eBay / Amazon re-man SC14s on a 1.8Miata engine. Watch that before you go any further, and i suggest that you grab a genuine Ogura one from a Crown/Previa/Jeep - would be sad for the 2zz to die early. I just put an JDM Crown SC14 on a 4age and its amazing, night and day over the SC12 (mine was 200HP at the crank with SC12) - The 2zz blitz kit has as a TX12 which is the same internally as the SC12.

I will be interested in seeing how you go, I have added a rotrex supercharger to my 1zzfe engine with a PowerFC and have just changed out my BOV to atmosphere to a returnable BOV as it was running way rich when dumping the boost, also having idle control issues. Don't think Apexi was my best choice?? Hope to do a retune in coming weeks fingers crossed..... this is in a lotus 7 replica

Curious question, with no shielding are your IAT’s high because it’s next to the exhaust?

#1 Reason these motors go bad, especially when boosting is. Not properly warming it up. Whatever you do, make sure to always let the engine temp warm up ridiculously long. min 5 full minute's for mine.. It will help keep your cylinders from losing compression waaaay longer.

Heck yeah man! That will be awesome! I do have a cheap bypass valve for experimenting, although it is not technically needed for this supercharger, especially with the fixed pulley. It may make tuning easier though, so I will be trying it out!

​@@phatali1bypass usually goes from after tb to after sc, the idea is to bypass airflow around the SC at low rpms. Maf is always before tb so the air is sucked through the maf to the TB and then SC. Best setup is iat sensor couple with map sensor but I have no idea about your engine ECU config. You will need a catch can/air oil sep box though as the SC will increase manifold pressure and oil vapor blowby.

I have a 1zz n have been following this post for awhile now. Questions: do you need an intercooler? The supercharger comes with its own accessories and tuning? Also, there's no intake pipe needed for air into the inlet of the supercharger?
