At least Amazon is nice enough to include a slide acknowledging dilution. Salesforce always includes a bullet point in their earnings releases congratulating themselves for all the billions they are returning to shareholders through buybacks... even if the sharecount went up.

That's right. If I'd buy Amazon, I'd only buy AWS, so I hope AWS is spun off. But I don't think it'll happen until the market acknowledges Amazon,com is effectively a cash hole for the AWS profits. Amazon,com's current business idea and goals are flawed, which I think can be seen from the absurd effectivization pushed on its employees. I mean the quotas on toilet breaks, packages per employee etc. Such are red flags on the business viability. Compare to Costco. Its employees are much more happy, and the customers drive to Costco themselves to get the stuff.
