@@doonthepan1290Hello. My, but you write with an amazing basketful of errors. Sean has not conveyed his feelings to me, but I’m sure he appreciates grammatical corrections and advice from someone well versed in that area of expertise. Please do be a darling and let him know if you locate one. Now if your use of punctuation, capital letters, spelling, and sentence structure, is anything to go by, it’s obvious you’ve never even met anyone with such skills, but since you brought it up, the veracity of your desire to help Sean will have to be judged by your willingness to find someone who is more familiar with the english language than yourself. However, if your true purpose is to troll, perhaps you would enjoy trying your trolling skills with yours truly. I’d be more than happy to oblige. Stay in school, snowflake.

American English is American, not English - why can’t they adopt different spelling’s for things? It identifies the author as an American, not a Brit, and I can’t see what the problem is with that. 🤷‍♂️

He has a great personality to teach the ways to make the guitar you have better with good setup, a few replacements and just good common sense. I believe that he should get an award for the best guitar setup and building website and Cathy for the best pickup and the process of making them. Can I get a second? I bought one of these for my son on FB Market for $35. Was barely touched. I straightened the neck, filed the frets and replaced the strings. The strings were high and the saddle screws were sticking out so I shimmed the neck and fixed that problem! Learned from watching Scarred Guitar! Yeah!🤟 The bridge saddles are pretty weak and gonna replace them. Maybe get a whole new bridge if its only $25.👍

Sean! Dude! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! So… you get a gift guitar from your wife, Cathy, and then you mod it up; on video, to be seen by all the people of Earth, and all of this on your birthday!! And you want to know if I like a Squier more than I like a birthday guitar which my mentor upgraded? Of course you’re a mentor to me, Sean. Just like you are to a lot of the people who watch your videos regularly. You got a great sense of humor, but it ain’t the reason we flock to you and Cathy. Thank you both for all the hard work you two put in on making videos; all the hard work you put in behind it, the recording and editing, just coming up with the ideas and how you’re gonna show them, the music you write and perform, making it all look natural when most of it’s been worked out before the shows, all the deadlines and those two or three “loussy, steenkeen trolls that don’ give a damn ‘cos they don’ know chit”! And lets not forget all the stuff you guys show us, where we learn stuff that we can take with us. When your shows are over, we’re smarter than when the shows started. Man, oh man! The work you guys do is just unbelievable. So on behalf of your fanbase, and on your birthday, and on account of you deserving it… Thank you! for all that you do. P.S.: I choose the birthday scarred guitar because it’s a better guitar than that Squier.

I watched this on my big screen and I am amazed at how much it is like my Silvertone. Mine is plywood and has a swimming pool sized rout. The ceramic magnets are really heavy and have thick magnets and I played it today and it sounds a lot like it. I’m going to have to get another victim for my Cathybuckers. And the headstock is even shaped similarly. I’m kind of surprised. I think it’s a Samick from Vietnam. I need a pawn shop hull to do. What pots and switches do I need? I have that Tele, and after going through this one again and setting it up, a brakleenon some stuff, the static is gone and it sounds like a Strat. I had a bow in the neck that was causing the buzz. I did it once, but doing it again your way made it a different guitar.
@Bbbbad724
@Bbbbad724 5 ай бұрын
This is funny but I used some candle wax on the Ceramic pickups, just poured it on them with on each side and cleaned the pickguard, but it worked they sound like new and they have thick magnets. I m just going to let that one be. I am pretty sure it’s a Vietnamese Samick. Turned out. That neck pocket trick on that beautiful piece of art is a wonderful touch!

Hey Sean- Glad I stumbled on your KZbin channel. I always enjoy your videos. I appreciate the fact that you teach as you evaluate a guitar- you're showing people how to do things or at least how things get done on a guitar. I was always a bit surprised how may of the players I 'd met didn't bother to learn some of this stuff. Some years back(like 40+) I had a guitar shop that did retail but the main function was guitar repair and customization. I enjoy watching you do this stuff and I really enjoy your humor. Back in the day you would've been very welcome at our place and would've fit in perfectly with the cast of characters I had the pleasure and good fortune to work( and learn) with. Thanks for what you do here- know that you're bringing this old timer some much needed enjoyment! Keep up the good work my friend! Rich

That white crap was probably the dust from the thin styrofoam wrapping. Got a ton of stuff in the mail with dust like that. Also, I have two of these guitars, pre-BCP logo added to the headstock. One blue like yours, and the other a tobacco burst! Love BOTH of them! All I did to them was just minor fret work, new strings, and let them rip. I wanted to get the tobacco burst so I could wire it super strat style, but it is so nice, I'm leaving it as is.

these guitars are great to learn to mod to setup your own guitars, many of these guitars just need a good setup , I still would swap out the pickups , there is loads of decent aftermarket affordable brands out there, and you could put in the Mrs pickups , love your channel it's tell folks you don't need to go out spend thousands both of my guitars are Vintage brand distributed by JHS here in the UK both stock and I would put them against the big boys any day esp my V6P with American Alder body and 3 Wilkinson P90's , the trem block is a great upgrade all Vintages Strat style come with a full size trem block but its staggered and the tuning stability on my Strat type V6P the last time I tuned her was 3 weeks ago , unfortunately many of these Amazon guitars in the US are not available on the UK Amazon store , I just love your channel your real no bull straight up , cheers ! Oh look at the picture of my KZbin icon that's my Vintage guitars , have a good one ,

a brand new guitar is kind of a a bad idea..you can find used but never used guitars, that new would not be in your price range. if i had 500$ to spend im positive that if i look around i can find a guitar that new would cost twice that much maby more. look for modified repaired and re finished examples and you might find something cool. i bought a dean flying v for 70$ because the neck had a weird twist witch was a gamble but i was able to fix it. all i had to do was relax the truss rod, wen i did i felt a click. i left it relaxed for 2 days then adjusted it and it was strait now!..so i ended up with a killer deal. its the same story with guns cars and a whole bunch of other stuff and things.
