Amazon Ai is terrible. I had a supplement I ordered show up to the locker empty because the glue on the seam of the paper envelope came undone (it did not appear intentional). So I had to reorder. I talked with the Ai and it reordered it for me, but I waited 2 weeks and it was never picked and sent again. So I had to bum around until I could chat with a human and have them just refund my money and then reorder it myself. I finally received what I ordered a month after I ordered it the first time. Tried editing my review of the product to express my experience with the Ai and, of course, it was deleted. Just like a majority of my comments on this platform, for no good reason. Everything is becoming unpleasant to use at all. We'll see if this even gets posted.

Eventually there won't be consumers anymore because no one will have jobs, and thus no expendable income. The companies that currently exist will begin to shift toward catering to the Elites and no one else. There will be a lot of military spending, perhaps even private robot armies, but why make cars for people that can't buy them? Why make smart phones if people have no need to communicate for work? Why maintain an Internet other than to keep the Elites connected across the Globe? When you start to follow the rabbit hole it becomes apparent that anything humans get after the Singularity, they are going to have to fight and kill and die for. And many of us will die to robots. Some countries will implement UBI.... I can't see the US ever doing so willingly though. Andrew Yang basically got laughed off stage. As I've said elsewhere, get ready for $2,000 stimulus checks and a You're Welcome letter in the mail. We've seen this playbook already. COVID was just a trial run. Now comes the REAL fun.

BUT, according to their projections, they're already six months behind - Google just announced API access to "Any-to-Any" AI; Amazon says "coming middle of next year". By then, according to exponential growth, they'll then be perhaps a year or more behind. I'm glad that they're fully in the game though.

You’re missing how the industry really works. Amazon is massive in cloud services and market intelligence-they dominate in ways you don’t see because they’re not flashy like Google, Meta, or OpenAI, which are B2C-focused. Amazon doesn’t need to show off with standalone AI products. Instead, they use cutting-edge tech to improve their massive ecosystem-smarter, faster, better. Their goal isn’t to be a software company; it’s to make their products unbeatable and grab even more market share. They’re definitely not “behind.”

It's a behemoth. With the exception of China and Russia, it pretty much DOES rule them all. And after a WW3 I would expect an even deeper consolidation of power. The world is becoming more connected, more unified, and more centralized through the decades. And that's not always a good thing. The Nina, The Pinta, The Santa Maria.... We are at a true inflection point in history. And guess what. We're the Natives.
