I collected a few walking sticks years ago from places like charity shops but it was clear to me people were a lot smaller years ago, any I bought one with a knob type handle and when I got it home I found it was actually a sword within the stick probably 100 years old

In the UK, this would be pointless to have. We're automatically arrested for having anything remotely like this with us, in any outdoors setting. As soon as the word "Tactical" is added to anything of this kind, it becomes illegal to have with you in any place to which the public has right of access (they don't have to actually be there, or ever be likely to be there) "by express or implied consent", so that makes it impossible to justify, in Britain! We can't even have small folding knives on us, legally, or even in the boot ("trunk"?) of a car - automatic arrest, on the spot! Suggestion...never move to Britain - I live in a criminal's paradise!
@AOATSURVIVAL3 жыл бұрын
Wow! That's really interesting Mate. I served with some British Soldiers during my time in the Army and they told some stories like that. I would love to have a conversation with you about British survival kits. What do you do if you get into a survival situation? No knife? That sucks friend.

A word of caution on this thing it is much heavier than a regular walking stick. And the tip is slick on the ground.
@ruatonim Жыл бұрын
It is neat. I think for the concrete jungle, it would do good for attitude adjustments. For long hikes, you said it yourself, it is heavy, it's gonna wear you out. My rule of all day hiking sticks is that it should carry me, not me carry it. For this, I have really enjoyed iron bamboo over the years. Super strong, super light and you can whip it fast enough to clear a path through brush and briars if you are sans machete. Plenty of snakes where I am too, so always have a pokey stick. Cheers.
@AOATSURVIVAL Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment my friend! I appreciate you watching and taking the time to post about your experiences. I do like bamboo, and I have a much lighter metal stick, and a wooden stick both suitable for longer hikes in the woods. I rarely use this tactical walking stick because of the weight for sure. I will say that you may NOT take this walking stick on an airplane unless you are flying Jolly Fats Weehawken. I've seen people with live chickens on their flights. Technically if all of the weapons were removed it would be legal to take on a flight according to the TSA website, but I wouldn't chance it. I mean you could hit someone with a carry on bag or a tablet/ laptop. Why would they care if you brought a walking stick? Getting hit in the throat with a tablet really hurts. If you get on the Temu app or website, you can search "tactical walking stick" and find a number of others in the 25 dollar range. They are much lighter but still have the tools in them. I like the lighter version for hikes through the woods. Sturdy enough to do its job, and you can fill the empty tubes with your own gear that will work if you need it. Now, if you ever hike in East St. Louis you will want the heavy one. And body armor, and a shotgun with a decent choke on it. Thank you for the comment my friend, and thank you for watching. I go on allot of cruises but hate being unarmed. A few years ago i was in a bad accident abd had a 5 inch piece of metal go into my knee. Thankfully it didn't do any permanent damage except left a nasty scar. So I bought the cold steel heavy walking stick. It literally is a normal Cain but the aluminum tube is thick like a baseball bat and the grip is the same plastic a glock is made out of. It's not much when walking through down town mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico against a gun but it will mess up unarmed attackers or someone with a knife 😆 and customs has never looked twice at it. Hell half the time I just lay it on the x-ray machine and let it go through.

Well my friend, I ordered 3 extra tubes for the walking stick. Adding 2 of them makes it tall enough for a hiking staff, but it is a heavy son of a gun. Even with the tools left out it is still heavy. I like it because it is different, and sturdy as all get out, but to use every day is unfeasible. That is just my opinion of course. We all want this to work, because cool. but these are heavy, and metal.... Which means if it's cold out, also not so good. Also, why do all of these force you to put the fire striker at the end of the stick? the part most likely to get wet? The tubes are relatively good at waterproof, but the whole tube has to be secure. Finally, threads aren't NPT compliant, so if you want to drop in a custom attachment, you have to mill some kind of custom thread. It's cool, but...

It is quite gimmicky. It would not pass an x-ray screening. It is heavy. It is adjustable by removing some of the tubes or adding more tubes. This walking stick is made to look cool and sell. The knives and tools It contains could come in handy if a person became lost and had no other tools, but the quality of the tools contained in this walking stick leave much to be desired. I have not hit a tree with it, but a tree is much different than a human. If you hit a human or animal with it it will do damage. It is heavy so you will have to be strong to wield it as a weapon. I have no doubt of its battle readiness, but I do question its weight. It is not light like a bow staff so it will slow your attack and defense. Its strength is a trade off for the weight. Any self respecting drinker knows how to open a bottle of beer with nothing more than a dime. 🍺😉

That's true, but some people are too tacti-cool for that simple trick. I used to open bottles with my teeth in high school, but I am not self respecting. Thank you for the comment my friend! And keep those dimes handy!

Expecting a true review, not an unboxing.

Sorry my friend. I'll give you my honest review now. This walking stick is too heavy to be feasible for hiking. It looks great, and it is remarkably sturdy. The tools it contains are near worthless, and the rubber tip that comes with it is very slippery on most surfaces that I have tried it on. Here is a video that I did on a different version that is very nice for every day use. It is aluminum, includes the worthless tools and stuff-able hollow tubes that break down to be carried in a pack, etc... here is the link! kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYHPgnSKoc2hmbssi=TFfbDwVqyJ9OeCyX I would highly recommend the one from the link I attached. I use it often. Kelly

I just came here to talk mad sht on the commercial I just watched saying the us government might ban it soon so buy it now. Bruh, we can’t outlaw guns, how do you think we’re going to outlaw a fkn hiking stick. Dumbest commercial ever.
@AOATSURVIVAL3 ай бұрын
Hello my friend! I have not seen said commercial, but if I do I will also talk mad shit! Outlaw a walking stick with a knife? What if you are on a hike with a stick, and a pocket knife? Is it OK as long as they are separate? What if you just carry a baseball bat and a kitchen knife? That's still legal, I think. Thank for the shit talk! I truly appreciate it!

@@AOATSURVIVAL it was a KZbin commercial with a QR code. It was their opening statement before you found out what it actually was. Truly got my attention and then enraged me.

I have two hands, two feet, a healthy set of teeth and a sharp brain. No need for tactical walking stick.

Hey! That is great! You may not need this stick at all. There will be someone out there with one though. I hope you don't meet him or he may take one of those hands or feet away with this heavy ass stick! March on my friend and thanks for the comment!
