Hello, that looks amazing thank you for this video! Quich question, when did you visit Amazon? We're planning to go in December, but have some concerns about the rainy season:/

Thank you so much - the Amazon is such an amazing place :) I visited at the end of February/beginning of March and what the locals told me (and from what I experienced), it's always raining in the Amazon. The water levels are highest from May-August and lowest from October-December. When the water is high, there are more opportunities to see wildlife as it's easier to access remote areas by boat. When the water is lowest, it tends to be hot and dry and ideal for fishing. Hope this helped.

looks amazing I think I will stay there, can i book the tours from the lodge or how did you arrange that? I see it on expedia but i don't see how to book the tours

I'm so excited for your travels! Depending on the number of days you stay at the lodge, the included tours are arranged each day and no need to book individually. One thing to note is that the list of tours are scheduled depending on the weather situation as it rains quite a bit in the rainforest. For example, the overnight stay in the jungle and the morning sunrise tours were reshuffled during my stay which I was able to do. The group that was leaving on the following day I arrived said they missed the overnight jungle stay because their group was set on doing it on the last night they were there, but were rained out. Contact their website and they can discuss your itinerary in more detail :)

Hi! I was looking into this lodge and was wondering if you saw a tapir there? Some of the pictures I saw of this lodge showed this tapir that looks like it frequently visits the lodge
@CarloFrancoVLOGS2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Yes, there was a tapir there that visited on one of the days I was there. I had just got back from an excursion in the afternoon, and it was in the back of the lodge, near the entrance to the forest where the staff prepare the meals.

@@CarloFrancoVLOGS thanks for the response! I really want to see a tapir in the Amazon but I know they’re hard to find. I’m thinking of staying at this lodge just for a good chance to see it. Do you know if it comes by often?
@CarloFrancoVLOGS2 жыл бұрын
@@alexandratu701 It's hard to tell since I was only able to see it on one of the five days I was there. The one I saw was by itself eating some scraps that was left out by the staff. I've seen pictures on Tripadvisor others have posted of Tapir's at the lodge, so my guess would be that you might be able to come across one. Good luck!

Yes wish me luck! What room type was yours? Not sure what’s the difference between standard, superior, or Bangalos, but loved your view.

@@alexandratu701 I can't remember which room type I was booked in, but I remember the room number was Room 2. I requested for a water view when I was booking. Hope this helps.
