The thing that gets lost about Keane v Vieira is how brilliant they were from a technical standpoint. People romanticise about the physical stuff a lot but the two of them were absolutely magnificent footballers, with virtually no weaknesses, both capable of dictating a full football match.

I'm 27 (1997) from Nigeria, so I don't remember the 98-01 Arsenal teams much. The Invincibles though, when I started getting into it. Would never forget the tunnel fight game. We had that night in Paris in 06, and Wembley in 2012 amongst others, but the 4-2 loss at Highbury is probably my worst ever one. After the fight and going up early, only to get cooked by that little boy (at the time) Cristiano. So many elite battles, and very lovely to see all these guys chopping it up now, so freely and respectfully. This is what the game is really about ❤

Small detail but notice at @1:21:40 during the handshakes. PV offers out handshakes to Carra and Neville, but reserves a dap for Wrighty and Keane (although Keane goes for the handshake). So great to see the respect between Viera and Keane, so much so that he daps him up like a teammate
