Personally I consider Abdul Basit would figure amogst the worst scums born in Pakistan in its short history. His kind of disastrous diplomats would be very difficult to find even during the period that was building upto the WW-I. I was at a very senior position in GoI in Delhi when Basit was there as Pakistani HC and I know the kind of lasting damage he did to Indo Pak relations. I, therefore, is not at all surprised by whatever he says on tv or social media. I strongly believe that he suffers from a drep psychological dosorder that hinders him from seeing reality. However, I feel he did a reasonably good job here in answering the questions. From his obsessive state of mind and the politco-religious position, particularly religious position, of Pakistan, Arvind should realise that no solution can be found with Pakistan through rational means. The only way India can be rid of the disease called Pakistan is when it disintigraes into pure ethnic States.
