I'm booked on this ship in Feb-Mar 2026 in the Med for 31 days. Its a proper cruise ship at very reasonable prices. The refit is very nicely done & hopefully Ambience will do the same. These huge ships are vile. I know some things wont be perfect but I intend to enjoy.

The main thing that has put us off booking another cruise with them is that we don't like the fixed time and fixed table dining. Food quality was good though.

Hi guys. Good overview of the ship 🚢 only thing that would put us off is the shared dining tables. I thought I saw on your map it was going to Liverpool was that not the case?

We docked in Liverpool but we came straight back home, we didn't have time to look around.

Proper cruise ships have always done shared tables, you are on a ship & you can't escape each other, so you meet & hopefully get along. If everyone had their own table you'd need a very very big ship. Size limits things. I'm on this ship on 2026 for 31 days & a solo guest.

Very nice Indian restaurant !! The dishes looked very good & noticed lots of " vegan options" available ! 😀 I am not vegan,once I was for 17 years ! I am vegetarian now ( for 16 years ) ,loved the name " Saffron "! 👍🍽🍨

Sorry that you did not get to Dun Leary I think they do Cruises from Avonmouth to Dun More East which would be well worth checking out. You can get to Visit Waterford and Wexford on that cruise.

Was the ship at full capacity or are they short staffed? I had the breakfast served from the kitchen when I was onboard and wondered what the reasoning was, why they did a buffet for you.

It's had plenty good reviews & it's how it is on your taste buds. There's specialty restaurants at a extra cost. I booked on the Med & Caribbean cruises & for me the aim is seeing other parts of the world at 31days & 42 days respectively. One meal a day will suffice for me.

Proper cruising you will have to share a table due to the size of a ship & you are part of the crew in reality & under Capt orders. The big tower block ships are more a hotel & casinos with a few stops.

Tks Having been on the same cruise agree with you. will def try them again ( when the price is right) but not from Tilbury, too far but any northern port will be good. Saffron looked very good.How much was the surcharge?

Hi, yes Tilbury is a bit far for us too. It was £19 per person at Saffron.

I live near Dundee & have booked the Med & Caribbean cruises & sail from Tilbury. I will travel down a day before in case of any problems. Dundee only does northern trips.
