Nice video. We travelled on it to Iceland in July and had a faulous time. I loved the smaller ship feel and the food in the restaurant each night was superb. Would definately book again , dancing each night away in the Cavarn bar. Made lovely memories and met amazing like minded people omboard.

Nice review. I like "Ambition", but in my opinion "Ambience" is a little more spacious is a little more spacious and feel a little more upmarket.

I sailed on the Ambition when she was first launched years ago on the inagural cruise with Costa RIVIERA, I then sailed on her again a few years ago as the Costa Neu RIVEIERA, My last cruise on here was Nov 2024 to the NORTHERN LIGHTS she was just as nice, and the crew were amazing so happy (I do hope that is genuine and not forced by bonus deductions) She is a lovely ship

Weve just got back from an Ambassador Cruise on Ambience. We sailed from Tilbury passed our house and family on the pier - great fun to wave to them ..... our 1st cruise we loved it .....interesting to see the Ambition TY

My Wife and myself have always used Marella/Tui for our cruises but lately they have changed their business model to maximize profits and to be honest we didnt enjoy our last cruise with them so we are on the lookout for an alternative so this vid is much appreciated, many thanks for posting.

An excellent video and I thank you for it...first class. Can I ask....you mentioned how Ambition really do not like folk taking their own booze onboard. Why? It seems counter-productive. Surely people having a glass of their own wine out on the balcony would be saving the company money ? How did your trip to Iceland go ? We just watched your Ambition cruise late last night and now I'd like to see what Iceland is like. Happy sailings you guys. Love the fact your video is unscripted and 'natural'

We didn't mind them not allowing alcohol on as the prices in the bars were much cheaper than other cruise lines. Although I don't know how strictly enforced it is, I'm sure you could take some on. Iceland is always amazing although the weather was very wet for most of it but it is Iceland, you don't go to sunbathe.

We were on the same cruise. Agree choice of draught beers was poor .Very poor but prices were ok! Await your further report on the trip. Particularly your view on the tender process/issues at Dun Laioghaire ! tks

@@flydriveexplore OK tks I After waiting in a queue for over an hour , got to the boarding platform, but when we saw the tender bobbing like a cork in a bath tub, and the crew struggling to secure her safely , thought better of it that was the last tender to go ashore so we, like you, never got ashore.

As a cruiser I find the smaller ships (1200 passengers) are so much better than sailing with 5k or more people

Was on ambition this year we’re as staff and food was good pools were dirty and not open on a 12 day cruise from Bristol, want use again will stick with msc and virtuosa

won't use it again? , I personally am an MSC man and have been looking at this line but worried stuff like the pools won't be in use as I have seen multiple people say the same and I do not want to be stuck on a 14 night without the full cruise experience, how long ago did you sail when the pools were out?

We shared a table for the two nights in the Main Dining Room (6 on a table, three groups of two). They do say there are shared tables, not sure how easy it is to get a table just for two. The only time we had a table of two was in the speciality Indian restaurant which has an upcharge.
