What's the local currency, what's the average cost of accomodation, and what's the easiest way to get to the island, and to Madagascar in general?

The local money is Malagasy AR its best to use a visa debit card in the local atms to get cash the hotels can cost between €15 & €30 a night the flights to nosy be island are more than to the capital Antananarivo but if you wish to go to nosy be its best to fly directly to nosy be as its hard to get here by road and air.
