all flight to Madagascar are very expensive. In July August, I have payed 1460 euros for 2 months, July August is the most expensive days because it is holidays at school.

In this town Sambava it seems very safe, day & night.

@@jonozambrotta6048 I walked around toamasina at night many times, no problems at all. Never been to Nosy Be but I think it is ok as well.

The only 500 m of good road recently redone. Was there in april 2022 and it was new. Again this year in july 2024, and the paint of the benches already widely degraded. Others roads even in center town with lot of potholes as almost everywhere in Madagascar, unfortunately

I believe they opened a new Leader Price near the boardwalk a few months ago. It was under construction when I was there.
