Yeah, we really need to normalize prenups as a society. Nowadays if you try to get a prenup you'll get flamed because "you're not dedicated to the relationship and are planning for it to fail" but it should be viewed the other way around and be the default. You should automatically have a prenup and have to specifically opt into one and it should instead be viewed as "ohh why do you want a prenup, are you assuming we're gonna get a divorce in the future and you want money if and when that happens, is that the reason you want to get married?" Like it really shouldn't matter if you get one or not, if the relationship works out like planned then it'll never even come into play. Same thing with wills, you shouldn't even worry about that until you're old and sickly, that's basically like planning for your partner to die and it's suspicious if you even bring it up so early on in the relationship... If you're still newly wed and your partner dies unexpectedly then money should be the last thing on your mind anyway, you just lost the love of your life after all...

As a guy - all I ever got from people was to hit her back, or she cant hit that hard. we divorced in 2008 and i am without any doubt that if we had stayed together I would have been dead by 2009

I took abusive ex to court he got away with it all because they thought I was like amber heard lying crazy etc but really it was him . My narcissistic ex was exactly like amber heard. She really angers me because it’s been 6 years since I left ex and I still struggle with ptsd nightmares and health problems from the stress she is a disgrace to human beings I hope she gets locked up in prison
