As someone who had to check IDs, we were trained to spark light conversation to 1. Calm the customer down bc they become irritated for asking for an ID 2. Check for slurred speech or intoxication, bloodshot eyes, etc . I use to know someone who had to one-up everyone. If you went camping for a few days, then she'd say she went camping for a week. She didn't realize that some of the lakes she said that she fished at...had no fish in them or others you couldn't fish at or you could fish but you'd have to throw them back. When I got "engaged" (a lie to throw off a stalker I had), she had to say that she got engaged. The funny thing was that no one believed her because she one-upped everyone so we didn't congratulate her. She did get engaged & married a few weeks later. LOL. Oh well. She shouldn't have lied so much.

I think the real difference in appearance between ALR and FB is how they carry their weight and the presence of beetus. ALR actually doesn't carry much fat in her face (like Tess Holliday) whereas FB is so bloated, she can't hide anything (and carries her fat in her middle and face). I have always found FB more interesting overall over the years, but man, who knew ALR would be the undisputed queen of gorlword after months of boring.

I adore you, but just fyi, so many places just card everyone for everything to protect the company in America, I am 56 and I get carded at every grocery store to buy a bottle of wine, so I believe she actually was carded. I lived in Scotland for 10 years, I came back less than a year ago, and in 10 years I never got carded, bless Scotland.

Places that sell liquor or tobacco products can be fined for selling to anyone underage so they tend to card anyone they don't know or haven't carded several times before. Once they know you they don't or like me if you look every day of your 60 years, they don't card me anymore. 😂 But they did up until about the last 5-10 years.
