I stayed at Adelphi in June 2023 and was given a room that badly smelt, but I put it down to that it had probably been locked up for several years during the pandemic. Staff, however, were very considerate and moved me to a fresher room.

Useful info as I am looking for a quiet hotel in town but still within walking distance of central area, which has proved difficult on previous visits

Both good hotels, gripe with Amber very stubborn in letting u check in early, very poor bar service. Now days getting very expensive

Nice one Besty 👍 Love your Hotel reviews 👏 I been to the AMBER 3 times already. I think is very comfortable, modern and in the perfect location. I really fancy the pool upstairs in the ADELPHI. Big enough and more private than the one in Amber. Apart from that both are excellent options. Looking forward for the next review of DEBUA..! Cheers Mate 🙏 Have fun 🤩

I’ve stayed at both and they were nice but Adelphi was a bit dated although the rooms were gigantic. Amber was nice and new and well located but felt small. I last stayed at Amethyst and I loved it. I’ll be making it my preferred hotel until something else appears on the market.

I got shafted by Amber Hotel at check in when i had paid and they could not find my booking. Took 60 days to get a refund, never going back. The foyer was full of mosquitos and perverts.

Not sure there's much they can do about the Mozzies on the ground level, and it's pattaya so the perverts are to be expected. Taking 60 days to refund you is totally unacceptable though and losing your booking isn't very clever either.

I'm fine now thanks! This was from October last year. One more video on Tuesday from that trip, then the new trip videos start on Thaiday Friday (even though its from Malaysia!)
