I learned a great tip recently that I would like to pass on to you. 👜 I was shopping recently in the Christian Dior boutique at the Bellagio in Vegas. I was looking at Lady Doir bags and they introduced me to the “specialist“ to assist me. As I was trying on the bags and she was setting the bags up on the counter. I made a comment about the handles leaning over. She told me that there is a way to have the handles stand up nicely when you set the bag on a table/counter/flat surface. She told me that when you set a Lady Dior bag down, you gather both handles in one hand, shift them slightly to the right or left, set/nestle the handles down a tiny bit (on the top of the bag ) and they will stand up perfectly while your bag is standing on a table. It works great!

Hey great video, heres a tip when wearing it cross body. Instead of applying your strap to the outside-front and opposite back like alot of people do, try applying both straps to the backside outside of the handles. This will make it easier to access when wearing it cross body and help keep structure of the bag over time. The handles will flap down as you walk but you can just stack them up when taking photos. I found this to make my life alot easier.

It’s absolutely beautiful and looks fantastic on you. I managed to get hold of a can of Appleguard before importing them was banned. It’s fantastic but I do have to use it sparingly because I will probably never be able to get another one.

Hi Amber, I think you made the right choice, its such a classy bag you can wear for years to come. I have been using and enjoying my Lady Dior a little more this summer. I agree with all your pros and cons! I do wish they had made the handles lie flat out of the way bc that is awkward. More cons is that the bag can be a little side heavy from the weight of the charms and since the feet are not flat bottomed, but pointed, it can be easy for the bag to tip over so you have to make sure the weight is distributed well when you put it down. Overall though, its such an iconic and beautiful bag that its easy to forgive the "flaws", kindof like any good relationship, right? 😂

Amber, The bag looks beautiful on you. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Like you, I also like top handle bags that I can wear cross-body or on my shoulder. I am late to the party for this, but I'm wondering if you've ever considered a Givenchy Mini Antigona? I just got one. It has easily become one of my favorite bags within a weeks time! It's just the perfect size! Like I said, I know these bags are not new. I have no other Givenchy items, but boy am I ever glad I bought this bag. It made me think of you right away. A week without a video from you seems like forever. I love your videos!

Beautiful bag. I just purchased the LV neverfull in the cream cotton. I love it. I hesitate to spray it with Appleguard since it voids any defect warranty. My SA told me not to alter it because if a strap breaks or stitch pops within 2 years they will replace the bag. If sprayed they won’t. That said color transfer or a spot or stain of course it isn’t covered. Tough call. I love the bag and want to use it and enjoy it. Thanks as always for your great advice and style.

I love love this bag Ashleigh! It is absolutely beautiful. I was recently at dior and got the black patent with black hardware small lady Dior and saw this bag. I considered it for my summer raffia bag for an upcoming trip, but it was a bit fancy for what I wanted so I decided to get the Fendi first in raffia with the light tan leather trim as I can use it as a clutch as well. I love your cute little sandals.

I use Apple Guard on ALL my luxury bags, belts and shoes and double layer anything with light colored leather or material. Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Louboutin, Gucci....they all look perfect still. Beautiful bag!

Personally not a fan of the bag. It's lovely but I don't find it to look like a luxury bag, just me. I also find too many cons for me. I know myself and those small little things would get on my nerves, wonder if our fashion houses actually test the bags they create for practicality of use? Enjoy your new purchase.
