Celebrities have been deafeningly silent..which is chilling on a whole other level. It’s probably why we trust our social media guides more! The Balmain bag would look soooo cute with a black, cream or white jogger/hoody set-even a pink set. It’s more of a casual bag, that’s why it looks off with a girly dress. It’s more of a chic-street style looking bag.

I'd definitely keep the necklace and Chanel earrings. Those are harder to find. Chunky necklaces always come back and the earrings are a classic. Those are pieces to pass down later imo. My regret is buying an LV bandeau. I love it, I hunted for it, but I never use it. I think I just need to be intent on using it and I'll get use out of it. Like put it front and center before I get ready lol.

I have the same side up cardholder from LV. I bought it because I love the print, but mostly because it’s practical for my small bags - and it’s hardware neutral. I think it looks amazing with monogram, damier ébène and monogram eclipse without having to worry about the gold vs silver hardware. Hold it beside these prints and hopefully you will find some new love for it ♥️

Try spraying the YSL bag with a waterproof spray to give you a bit of confidence to wear it with darker coloured clothing throughout winter and avoid colour transfer. That may work. Sooo many people have said the same about those CD slides. I bought a pair of the Fendi Feel sandals - different vibe, I know - but they are so comfortable, I’ll be skipping CD. Guess your other slides are now house/garden slides 😕. The jewellery could be given another chance. Think the necklace would look good with a black sweater.

Good for you in not supporting Balenciaga… I know those are expensive slides, but I would do exactly the same thing and they would be headed for the garbage. I use to be afraid of using my light color bags! Much to my surprise there has been no color transfer. Before I wear a light handbag I make sure to take a white cloth and wipe it across my shirt or jeans. If there is no color on the cloth I am good to go.

I think you will fall back in love with each item for different reasons. If you do not fall back in love with the Tiffany necklace please keep me in kind. Sometimes, when you are looking to change up from your usual you will say oh I haven't wore this, I'll wear it today. Hi Amber, I feel the same way you feel about your cream colored bags with my black bags. I returned the YSL college bag that I had recently purchased in black with silver hardware bc once I tried it against the clothes that I have in my closet, which are mostly in earthy, light,and warm colors, I realized that the bag didn't go very well with most . I did love the style & I think I might re-purchase it in the future, but in a different color. I also ended up ordering the YSL wristlet in black, but with gold tone hardware instead since I realized that most of the time I want to wear a black bag is for more formal or evening events plus this wristlet was much less expensive and I could still wear it in the day time. I will also say that for this coming year, I am trying to explore more brands with high quality, but less ridiculous prices such as Aspinal of London, Mulberry, etc.,

Try using your cream bags with a winter outfit. I like wearing light bags with my darker coats and trousers as they brighten up an outfit. Just make a decision to carry a cream bag, put your stuff in one and go. The YSL would look amazing with that white jumper and the Balmain would be right at home with a black&white ensemble. I'm not sure if I have one luxury regret for this year. Or any regret for that matter. The one more expensive purchase for this year was a Coach tote which I love and carry about every week, and other than that I haven't bought much and what I've bought, I've also enjoyed.

How about wear your YSL in the fall in the winter? Cream looks gorgeous in the cooler months, and it would be a different look for you. Don’t worry about the color transfer…..just let it go.

Hi Amber! The positive side of the luxury regrets is that you learn what not to do in the future. Luxury shopping is a journey learning about yourself and what works for your current lifestyle. ❤ My opinion on whether to hold on or sell the unused items is to review cost per wear and does it make any sense to keep them? If you sell them you’ll have funds for new items you will use which makes more sense. If you have items you want to keep as “collection” then cost per wear wouldn’t matter. White handbags always make me think of Winter snow, so I think that beautiful YSL camera should be worn in the Winter along with Summer. I do agree that when wearing a white top it makes more sense to wear a bag that gives a pop or color. I too am concerned about color transfer on white color tone bags. I have a YSL Toy Puffer in Crema Soft. I ❤ that bag but I’m so concerned about color transfer from color clothing that I don’t wear it as often. That one I’ll never sell because that’s the only color I like in the available options. I know how you love the camera bag but are you willing to sell the white one and get another color that you would wear instead? With Balenciaga they totally made a huge mistake with the disgusting marketing direction, but I know down the road all is forgotten and people will continue to buy from Balenciaga again. So many movie stars and companies have done huge mistakes and later all is forgotten. I know this will too. It doesn’t make it right but history shows that people tend to forget like 9-11. That was the proudest day being an American because everyone came together to help each other no matter the race, age or gender. We were all AMERICANS. Forward to today, we are segregated by all kinds of categories and the feelings we had on 9-11 has all been forgotten. It is sad but true.

Cream colored bags are difficult for me also. I have a picotim 18 in nata which I rarely ever use. It's such a cute bag and you would think the color is neutral. But it's not white and it's not beige. Those 2 colors are more workable for me.

Hi Amber here are my thoughts! Keep the LV card holder it is really lovely I’m sure you have a black LV bag it would match or a pink bag. Also keep the YSL bag it could be worn in fall with navy, black, brown, neutrals or any colour or in the spring as well. Keep the Tiffany necklace as well as it’s beautiful! Sell the rest of the things apar from the Balenciaga mules. Send them an email and ask for a refund as you can no longer wear them for obvious reasons! Xo

Love your videos! Thanks for commenting on Balenciaga. Re: high end jewelry that you aren't reaching for.. I am the same way. I could be out of touch, but I think expensive jewelry is out of style? I never see anyone wearing any, either in person or the influencers I follow. Besides wedding rings, of course. My husband bought me an expensive pair of diamond earrings several years ago and I never wore them and we ended up selling them! While I like LV bags, high end jewelry is just "not me" and i think it's falling out of favor with the younger generation.

I agree about not wanting to support Balenciaga, but you already own the slides. See if you can find someone to attach leather flower appliqués over the name so you can still wear them without advertising their brand. As for the Tiffany necklace, it’s a classic. Hold on to it for your daughter.

I regret buying the ysl puffer in the crema color. Love the bag but realized lambskin is too delicate for me...then to top it off I got the lightest color I could get

@Coco Denise wear the puffer bag! I have it in the cream small size. I’ve worn it quite a bit, crossbody, with darker colors as well. No problem with the lambskin. It’s such a pretty bag. Enjoy it!

Amber wear that white ysl camera bag! That leather is so durable! Of course I love love cream bags. I do usually wear them in the s/s but sometimes in wi ter also. But don’t be scared to wear it. I have the cream small ysl puffer which is in lambskin and I haven’t had any problems with it. Yiu can always spray it first to prevent color transfer. Chase Amie has a video on what she uses and Zeko on zekoauthentication has a post on what to use on Chanel bags so I’m sure that would work. Wear it! TFS and talking about it. As for the Chanel earrings, next time yiu reach for the ones with the ears, put them back and put the others on. They are for similar occasions.

I am seeing a pattern with these items. With the exception of the YSL bag they are all either very loud or heavily logoed. Perhaps deep down that is just not your thing?

Hi Amber, thank you for this…Pro tip on shoes: I take all of my luxury shoes to the cobbler before I wear them and put a reinforced bottom. Gucci, Prada, you name it, the bottoms are still the same flimsy material, but reinforcing them protects our investment!!😂 I have the D-way slides and I love them, but I don’t wear if I will be walking a ton. ❤ your content! Firstly- I recently bought the lou camera bag in red and love it so much I want it in more colors- stopped myself from getting the routine black one. Thanks for talking about the cream one- I wanted it too but I would probably never reach for it either 😂 Other than that, my one regret is the LV Favorite PM- i keep buying and selling it back and buying it again. Then selling. Then regretting. Have a love hate relationship with that bag. I love looking at it then I wear it and remember why I don’t like using it🫠
