Hey thank you man! When i had an opportunity to have my nose on ambergris. It was off smelling , but when i gave it tome i.e. 3 or 4 sniffs , i felt very calm & cool in my body and mind . It was some 48 degrees out there in India , so definitely not breezy. Did u have any same experience in any case. Let me know

Boy, she (Ms. Hanayo Tashiro) really don’t have any greedy ness. I would have paid more!! Anyway, it smells slightly sweet, a bit sparkly kind of coolness, almost translucent feel it has.

A great video for perfume aficionados on ambergirs. Thank you very much introducing ambergris seller from India too. BTW, I had the privilege of sniffing various types of ambergris and ambergris tincture last week at Jovoy (London). I visited twice there. It's during this second visit, that Sultan was there and he gave us an excellent tutorial on ambergris and smelled raw ambergris of all sorts and sampled various tinctures and maceration (all from Coronation Ambergris, exclusively available at Jovoy London) in various perfumery. I wish I had recorded it. Sultan was wiping his ambergris laden hand on his clothes all the time. I'm not joking, This guy loves it. :D We tried Hasu-no-Hana (Grossman) with and without ambergris. This whale substance just made the smell more rounded and nuanced and also very long lasting (the smell was there after 4-5 washes with only 1 soap washes). I could smell Hasu-no-Hana even after 16-18 hours on my skin! During my 1st visit, I also tried the tincture and masceration with two pure Dahnal oud from Sylhet and one possibly from Assam. It was a revelation, bro!

A very much thank u for the video. Now i know what Ambergris is. On a different note after using attar for nearly a decade , after being inspired from ur videos & reviews i have decided to go for Artisanal ouds. But dear i want u to decide for which house shall i go for between ensar oud, imperial oud or Agar aura. Presently i have saved some 300 $ from my precious earnings. So kindly tell me for which artisanal oud i should go far, i was thinking of Oudh yousuf or Oudh Haroon from ensar oudh but i think u can guide me better. So far the better oudhs that i have used are dehn ul oudh amiri , dehn ul oudh qadeem from ajmal & kambodi qadeem from attar mohd ayub ( which was also recommended by u & thanks for it again ). Great video. Talking about frustrations: there are so many wonderful natural materials which are mostly so expensive to have... I am new to perfumery but I was wondering if some people on here would be willing to buy together with me bigger quantities this would reduce so drastically the cost and we could even buy wholesale that can even be cheaper.
