Whenever I listen to this song, I think of my older sis, she’s always done things for other people, but not for herself. She has all these dreams but I can see that she wants to give up and I just want to shout this song to her! And tell her she’s worth it too! Wow did not expect to cry writing this.

This song is the embodiment of looking at yourself in the mirror and finally being seen by your own self. Recognizing all the broken beautiful parts of you and loving them despite it all. The last scene of Amber holding herself in the cube and loving her enough to allow her to emit her own light.. wow. Talk about self love. The older I get the more I start to find it. I am no longer looking for others to fill my cup, and it feels so freeing. I am so damn worth it.

I lost my husband of 22 years of marriage and knowing one another for 31 years to Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2020. We gave 2 beautiful daughters to whom I stay strong. I process my grief through dance and music. You lose sight of self when a partner, loved one, leaves this Earth. This song is such an inspiration to my soul. I want to thank you for this. My 19 yo daughter put me on you music awhile ago. I love it. Stay blessed and beautiful ❤️

Lyrics Easier said than done Trying to be the one It's so hard to not be hard on yourself How do they all believe? I cannot even see The belief that I had way back when I know that you get so used to it Always living in regret Your dreams never left your head But when you talk to me I can see the light shining So bright that it is blinding Just let it out Oh, I know you feel it That automatic shiver in your spine (That automatic shiver in your spine) Darkness, you have seen it (Seen it) Heavy on the heart, look to the light Oh, release the feeling It'll send you out to space Nothing like your happiness (Nothing like it) Ohh Open up the ceiling You think you don't deserve it But you are so damn worth it, baby You think you don't deserve it But you are so damn worth it, baby You think you don't deserve it But you are so damn worth it, baby We've all got that feeling I can see you hurting You don't think you deserve it But, baby, you are worth it Just open up the ceiling Come on, let the love in 'Cause, baby, you are worth it We've all got that feeling I can see you hurting You don't think you deserve it But, baby, you are worth it Just open up the ceiling Come on, let the love in 'Cause, baby, you are worth it Oh, I know you feel it That automatic shiver in your spine, uh Darkness, you have seen it Heavy on the heart, look to the light, yeah Oh, release the feeling It'll send you out to space Nothing like your happiness, ohh open up the ceiling You think you don't deserve it But you are so damn worth it, baby We've all got that feeling I can see you hurting (You think you don't deserve it) You don't think you deserve it (But you are so damn worth it, baby) But, baby, you are worth it Just open up the ceiling (uh, right) Come on, let the love in (You think you don't deserve it) 'Cause, baby, you are worth it (But you are so damn worth it, baby) We've all got that feeling (ooh) I can see you hurting (baby) You don't think you deserve it But, baby, you are worth it Just open up the ceiling (come on, let it) Come on, let the love in 'Cause, baby, you are worth it (You are so damn worth it, baby)

Open up the ceiling to me means opening up your mind - but that's just what I'm using for me
@djdie13123 жыл бұрын
To me, open up the ceiling is a metaphor for trying to push out your limits, going out your comfort zone, trying to do what everything, everybody, and yourself have told you not to, or all the stuff they've said you're not good enough... That shiver in your spine resonate as that dark wave we have sometimes, when, even if things are not that bad, there's this voice reminding you it all could end up right now, that it'll never last...
@silvabakx63963 жыл бұрын
Interesting you pointed that out. It just so happens that the dominant light spectrum & whole mood of this video, is driven by a smooth blend of subtle, upper chakra color combos. Hmmm

Goin' through feelins' that you're not appreciated. And when you get sum' lame 'thank you', it's insincere. I've come to realize that I really don't need the validation of what I may do for another that's sincerely comin' from my heart. If I'm l👀kin' for some kinda' praise...then what was my true intent? I know my 'worth' as a child of God. And have come to terms to not put man above Him!... Ya' music is F🔥RE!
