As an Iranian here its very easy to make the lavashak treat over and over. The lavashak rolls/sheets can be found in most middle eastern shops. And then just get pomegranate molases which is the sauce. The sauce is great with anything, I even have them with cold watermelon and strawberries, it tastes great!

I have to say that tanghulu is originated in China. And to make a perfect tanghulu, you shouldn’t stir the sugar in the beginning, just let it boil. And when it start to change color, you can test it to see if it is crunchy in cold water. Also, it’s better to dry the fruits using paper towels before you dip it into sugar because water makes it difficult to get the sugar on the fruits. Hope these might help!

tanghulu best way is low heat super low and best to use a pot not a pan and ice bath on a pot not a plate unless ur plate is like super deep and big ... u need dip the sugar coated fruits in super cold bath till it is chill in the core so it wont burn ur fruits

love u guys, this was so fun to watch (as always) Anyways im italian and sometimes we do the parmesan thing and yeah, the “written part” is kinda not edible unless you scrape it until it turns whiter (like the color of the rest of the cheese). You can also put it in in “minestrone” or other soups until it softens, when i was a kid the person who got the most was the luckiest one because the “croste” taste so goodd :)

I think that cooking the sugar on super low will be easier to not burn it so fast. I might use a smaller pan, so it is easier to dip in. It is hard since you have to work fast, the first time you dipped the stick in it looked ready to dip immediately. I also put it in the fridge after, so it gets cold. I also don't know if the organic sugar might be the issue but i saw a tiktkok saying u could put sugar in a cup and microwave in incraments of 30sec til ready to dip one fruit in at a time.
