He touches upon a lot of artists I have no idea existed or had little prior interest in and somehow delivers it all in a way that just piques your curiosity. KLF is no surprise, from our brother Oliver. One of the albums that got me into early 90s UK electronic music, and really an essential album. Brilliant pick, mate! Eno is to be expected, and is definitely a must, but the dark ambient of Ambient 4, is the most interesting of his early ambient explorations imo. Tim Hecker for the kill, such a brilliant artist. It’s hard to say what my favorite album is from him. It’s probably Ravedeath, 1972, but Virgins, Haunt Me, Love Streams, Harmony/Ultraviolet, and his collab with OPN, are all incredible albums.
