This music speaks to my soul. You are talented, and I wonder why the world hasn't gifted you our best vocalists. Only the best for you. Can anybody please, hook this guy up with a recording contract, bring him only the best in the business, and he will reintroduce us to the greats of the 70s. Your music is incredibly endearing.

Right in the middle of something, this link popped up. I had to listen. Really, Bill, that is a beautiful piece; heartfelt, warm, and lovely. Oh, and the guy a while back that complained about your lighting? You got that nailed now, excellent video, and those grey eyes watching you are piercing......

Bill...by far your best piece IMHO. I dig all of your electric ambient guitar work and the riffs/runs that come out of your demos, but this one is on the level of Will Ackerman work if you ask me. Songs like this are worthy of coming back to time and time again. If this is to be on an acoustic album, you set the bar pretty darn high with this one. Really, really great...JQ

Totally agree.

Not trying to be cheeky but I prefer this over what I've heard of Mr. Ackerman, as lovely and worthy of respect as his work is.

Excellent composition BIll! I see ya took my suggestion there with the EBow and used it to loop a drone to play over. I like that! And is that a new guitar? If so, are ya gonna do a gear demo video on it soon? As always, Keep up the good work!
@chordsoforion7 жыл бұрын
Thanks lightnintrucker! Unfortunately, the guitar is not mine - it belongs to a friend. I think I am going to be on the lookout for a used version of this model, as Taylor does not currently make them. It's pretty nice.

@grega12075 жыл бұрын
So with a 3,4,5 capo on there, are you using the 6th string (uncapo'd) primarily as a bass "drone" effect? Whatever you're doing it works beautifully!

How many baritones do you have? I need to get in on Barry's tones! Great piece.

@Thirsty_Fox7 жыл бұрын
What will the fifth one be?
@chordsoforion7 жыл бұрын
The fifth is another PRS SE 277 semi-hollow. I am going to remove the stock pickups on this one and replace with noiseless P-90 style. Am looking forward to this!

I'm confused. You capo a baritone. Doesn't that make it a regular guitar? Then you fret above the capo. What does that do? Sorry, I know I'm missing a detail. Thanks for the great music!
@chordsoforion6 жыл бұрын
It's a partial capo covering strings 3-5. For more information, check out my video on using capos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3zXhWR_eKiClas
@vgfreddy217 жыл бұрын
Did you use the ebow to get that intro note loop?
@chordsoforion7 жыл бұрын
Yes - that is exactly what I did! And then I just let it loop for the duration of the piece to add a little texture.
@maxcuthbert1007 жыл бұрын
How does THIS one compare to the Tacoma?
@chordsoforion7 жыл бұрын
It compares favorably for sure. It does have a shorter 27" scale length, so down tuning baritone strings from standard BEADGF#B does not work as well as the 29" Tacoma, as the strings will get flabby. But the Taylor Expression system sounds way better than the pickup on the Tacoma. And the build quality is very good too.

I've actually have never seen someone play on both sides of the capo???
@chordsoforion7 жыл бұрын
It depends on the piece, but I find it helpful to on the other side of the partial capo in order to get extended low notes. I am pretty simplistic, however, there are some players who are very adept at it.
@rodkozikowski57877 жыл бұрын
Chords Of Orion thanks, I'll have to get one and give it a try. This is beautiful
