Ambient Guitar Swells - Delay Pedals Timing

Thanks for sharing this Antoine! The swells when using the Timeline and El Capistan sound SO BIG and BEAUTIFUL in a church setting as well. I have named my swell setting on the Timeline "Heaven" because that is exactly what it sounds like. Just gorgeous!!!

This is interesting and admirable, but I actually love the sound of a pulsing swell and don't want my guitar (or mandolin, ukelele, etc) to sound more like a synth! Don't have you knowledge or high-end equipment, but I've been able to get some swells I'm happy with out of a delay and reverb pedal together (in my case, an old digitech delay and oceans 11 reverb). But I guess we're aiming for different things...

Nice tip! I have a question, I heard there's a way to simulate the swells using only delay pedals. Have you ever tried that? Seems a nice trick.

Those digital repeats are pristine. It's like an analog delay is really a different tool altogether.
