Spend The Night In An Exclusive Luxury Miami Apartment | Heavy Rain & Thunder Sounds Outside | 4K

Spend the night in a luxury Condo, this is a cozy bedroom condominium scene, luxurious but still cozy, feel like spending time in a beautiful, expensive opulent condo, this won't cost you a thing staying here, maybe a bit of internet bandwidth ;) Sleep to the sounds of torrential rain and thunder, leave the balcony door open to listen to the rain and thunder. With some very subtle city sounds to go with the heavy thunderstorm. With high quality 48Khz audio, and 4K visuals to get a great view outside. I have put some lights animating on the buildings in the background. And for more immersion, I put in some subtle city sounds in the background, the rain in this video is meant to be a heavy tropical downpour, the glazed door to the balcony is deliberately left open to let the sound of the rain into the room.

Now for the techy 'how I created this' section:
The image of Downtown Miami is from Adobe Stock, the rest of the scene was made in Unreal Engine, including all the Rain VFX, water VFX, and rain running down the window VFX, I used RTX Raytracing for the reflections but baked the lighting to speed up render times and to be able to run my scene with all the VFX running at a decent framerate.
The audio was edited using Reaper out of may different sounds to create a sense of space to the rain.
Note: I may not be able to do many of these at 4K, as this 8hour video took 28 hours to render!! Yes 28!! And a full 12 hours just to upload to KZbin!!

@towels towels I live in a relatively new (less than 10 year old) high rise apartment in a big American city. I’m on the 27th floor. It’s not quite as huge as the place in the video, but I have big floor to ceiling glass along the outside wall in my living room and bedroom. I leave my windows open all the time. The city noise is barely perceptible unless some asshole in a muscle car roars by or an ambulance passes. If I close the windows, I can’t even hear those loud noises. I love my place.

i like this video because when the raindrops on the window and outside are somewhat normal size i can sleep to the sound of the rain. But, in other videos, when the raindrops on the window are ridiculously larger than any items in the bedroom (pillows, bed, fireplace, chairs, etc.) it disturbs me so that i absolutely cannot sleep for obsessing over it. Kudos for making normal sized raindrops and a soothing sleep sound. love the vids!
