I did this challenge once years ago, going to $0 by buying hedge plants and removing them. Never thought to use the magic town for the outhouse/sinks/food; I just peed on the ground and went hungry until I could get a phone and order pizza. Two ways to cheese this: you get the full value for items you sell if you sell them before midnight the same day, and the slot machine is a more consistent money maker than the genies. The trick is to buy art you DON'T like and look at it constantly, to bottom out your fun. Using the slot machine with an empty fun meter is a 100% win rate.

@Slippin jimmy because EA doesn't care about people happynes, and $10 is too little money. They won't re release the sims 2 for cheap, giving more reasons to the comunity to shit on sims 4 that nowadays cost over $1000.

I remember when I was playing this in 2001, when I was 12 years old, I added a granny to the game and I named her "Ammonia" because I literally thought that "Ammonia" was a given name at the time, having recently read a "knock-knock" joke in a book based around the word. It sounded like a given name that an elderly lady might have. Ammonia ended up dying within minutes of the game, then everyone else died shortly after. It was only a few days later that I was taking this exam at school and I was reading through one of the questions, which featured a diagram in which one of the elements was labelled "pad with ammonia" and I was fighting back a few laughs when I saw that as it was then that I realised the error that I made. I still have a good laugh at that memory, it never gets old!

This ended up essentially like a trailer in a trailer park, a cramped space with a shower, toilet, a fridge, you get the idea. @@chickennugget6233 I'm sorry, I wrote a whole breakdown on how to play it but youtube keeps flagging my comment, it's so frustrating. Basically, just search for The Sims 1 Complete Collection and the very first result is where you get it. The archive you want is called The_Sims_Complete_Collection_Win_Setup_EN. You'll need winrar to extract it. That page also gives you a full install guide, and even a code which you need. If that code is invalid, look at the comments for an alternative one. After you've got it running, grab the widescreen patch (again first result when you search for it). I hope this helps, sorry I couldn't be more specific but youtube won't let me.
