So I decided to paint a sad clown, initially to brighten up my hospitals room but after I got out, I decided I was going to give it to the first of my friends to move out. I'm going to give them my celebratory sad clown tomorrow ( they actually have a creepy hallway to hang it in!) I can't stand blank walls, so in college I started hitting up thrift stores for flat bedsheets to pin on the walls like tapestries. They cover a lot of empty space, they're easier and cheaper than paint or wallpaper, you can change them as often as you want, and they come in all kinds of colors and patterns. Kid's sheets are especially fun, I've had Mario, TARDIS pattern, Hogwarts, and Spider-Man over the years. Two bucks and a few pushpins can completely transform a room.
