If you don't know, having spare pack animals (Mules and Sumpter Horses) in your inventory increases your carry capacity while having spare horses (but not Warhorses) will be ridden by your infantry and archers while not in combat and will greatly increase your speed on the map. If you want to move really fast on the map, always make sure you have at least enough horses for all your non-mounted troops.

21:31 Long bows really aren't meant to be aimed by sight. It is more of a feel, muscle memory based system. Especially the warbows that these guys carry, having 100 or 150 or even 200 pound draw weights. The gloves might take a period to adjust your muscle memory, but them interfering with a sight picture isn't an issue.

Nice one, also the forest bandits are real good archers, better than most from actual kingdoms (150 bow skill compared to like 130 for the second highest kingdom archers), other than Battanion fians and further along that troop tree. (forest bandits upgrade to them after you get the perk).

In the inventory screen on the right hand side there is a little circle, press the circle and it will become a yellow dot. This locks the item in your inventory and it will not be sold or traded when you go to the trading screen, this makes it a lot easier because then you can use the "sell all" button without losing food, horses etc.

Oh, a second thought/tip: XP for upgrades is shared in a group (4 hillmen or whatever). Not a huge issue; but if you get 4-5 of a group you normally don't recruit? It can be better to wait and upgrade them all as a group so their xp counts to upgrade the stack all at once... instead of spreading it out with 1-2 guys at each tier. A bit of a risk that the lower armor won't get them all killed early; but it avoids leaving a straggler trying to get solo xp who is more likely to be killed later IMO. And if you have 10, and 2 can be upgraded; then 2 die? You can always still upgrade 2 from what I've seen. The xp isn't personally owned in the stack. Could be more min-max-style than you'd prefer, and very much a choice if it's really better... but I prefer it in most cases.

OH, also once you get a large enough force and I believe Charisma/Leadership bandits will want to join you vs being destroyed. I usually pick up groups of 1-7 forest bandits for free when I'm at around 100 troops. You can also get 1 highwayman in most groups of 4 or so mountain bandits so u can save on warhorse costs. Buying warhorses in horse villages usually will save u some cash as well.

Not that it's going to matter once you have more cavalry but waiting until long-range enemies come to you is a good strategy to keep casualties down. You just need a hill to hide behind then send in your men right before the archers get to the top of the hill.

Horse archer and cavalry in general is very powerful. There is this one time i was able to take on an army of 600 people with only about 150 people that are made primarily of max tier khuzait horse archer. Their only weakness is how hard it is for them to recuperate because cavalry need horses. And these horses are sometimes very hard to find especially the warhorses. There is this one time i scoured the whole khuzait territory and were only able to get like 30 horses or something like that

A trick to raise prestige a bit faster... Look at the minor factions in your area. The Hidden Hand is usually the weakest of them, and often doesn't join a major faction (both of which would be requirements for this run). Attacking them will only upset the 3-4 leaders that are scattered about the map; fighting their troops (puppeteer line) is harder than bandits; but not much (melee with throwing daggers, one horseman leader). Don't attack a minor faction that is allied with a major one when you attack (and if they ally, you have to leave them alone)... But if you pick your targets carefully, you can get some harder fights (with better rewards and prisoners) without ending up at war with anyone large.

you need a lot more Horses in you party because out of battle every man can use a horse while walking on the map making you faster to catch looter group and it will climb the morale too to have horses and will upgrade your party carry capacity, By that I mean just getting horse in your inventory

If you want to keep your recruit stream even with a army, picking the "right" Weapons for your frontline also helps. Aka, blunt weapons. Interestingly Looters are really good here: They throw Rocks (blunt damage) and use clubs (blunt damage). If it uses a Mace, Club or Staff, it can help you get more prisioners. However, you would really have to look for a higher tier unit that still uses Blunt. Basically every Advancement Line goes for Pokey or Slashy waapons.

While Mountainmen are good recruits, they are bad at making prisioners. Given that they use Axes and Swords. Brigants in turn look like they still got a Blunt weapon - Staff. Back in Warbard, the "Manhunter"/"Slaver" Line were the top line to go for, when you wanted to take Prisioners. Decent quality, but with Blunt weapons. mountandblade.fandom.com/wiki/Manhunter Usually you recruited them from the defeated armies Prisioner Pool, however. No idea how much that still works.

There used to be a whole set of Arena/Practice Equipment in Bannerlord. They all had the advantage that they caused only blunt damage: mountandblade.fandom.com/wiki/Arena_equipment#Melee Especially the Practice lance might be worth looking into. In Bannerlord, those weapons might be caleld "Tournament" rather then "Practice" gear. In a pinch, you could try to use the Polearm as a "Blunt Lance". As it is a poleearm, it can be used from horseback like a spear. Running over peopel with a horse, also does Blunt damage.

Put your archers in a line on a hill or with open terrain. The bandit groups will charge into you. Send your frontline troops in to break up their charge as your archers fall back when they get close

Those Battian Fian Champions are absolute beasts. Really great at range with enough armor/melee to stand up well even against dedicated infantry/cavalry units. Let your archers farm experience and keep them alive and they will win you many battles.
