I went there on 2009 with my parent, I was then just 34, fir akhon mein asu aa gaya, sab kuchh yaad aa gaya, one spot is missing here, that is chaitanya mahaptabhu s "dar bhangar danga",we had a veg lunch there, tu mujhe phir yaad karake rula diya

Very nice terracota carvings on the temples. Although this unique art has unfortunately seen much decline in recent times, it is still kept alive by some artists who bring in there work in different fares like the one in Bolpur Shantiniketan... This peaceful place is quite different from the stereotypical sea/hill stations...which people can enjoy and cover in a single day trip. Good research work not only in finding such places but providing useful information as well.
