I meant to mention in the video that my sister got the MelanX last year and I was with her throughout the entire process. It was the same time that I got the Level I peel. Her results were completely different from mine and she did not have a reaction. Only difference is her peeling was more intense because she got professional microneedling and the peel applied in the office.

As an esthetician I can’t even believe someone is out there selling peels of this level to consumers, online, to do on themselves, at home. Like estheticians are literally trained to work with those chemicals. I’m sorry you had to go through this. My god.

I had three professionally done VI Peels chemical peels. The first and second were fine. But I kinda felt they wasn’t strong enough as I didn’t peel much. That led to my mistake. The third time i asked them to take more passes on the chemical application and I regret it. It took an entire year to even out my skin after the peel. I will never do them again. I’m glad things worked out for you, too!

I was on the verge of trying a popular location that I recently found on Instagram that also had celebrity clients.. but i will definitely pass. And the nerve of the people you were dealing with telling you to contact your provider like they were not your provider. Smh. That’s wild. I’m just going to focus on eating natural fruits and veggies, & drinking water to promote the glow from the inside out. I might also try the African black soap as someone in the comments recommended. Just have to find the cleanest version of it. Also, you’re great at delivering content and have a very calm and articulate way of delivering. 💯✨

i have had 3 v.i peels thankfully i didn’t get a burn but my skin was honestly not that different after the peels maybe like 5% better it was a waste of money to me. i’m so glad your skin ended up recovering i know that process had to be so hard i would’ve panicked. i have seen some people not recover from being burned you are definitely one of the lucky ones even though these weren’t the results you wanted at least you weren’t left with dark spots left to heal for months. maybe you could try hydroquinone for the sun spots it had helped me.

I did a level one peel. And it was just the right amount of strength. And I did not want to do that. My aesthetician advises me to do one after going to her for a year to try something new. Also to help with the darkness around my mouth. I trusted her word but I was afraid of the process and I had little peeling. I was just too scared. I don't see myself doing a higher peel. But I would be open to her doing it again. Also, I did not keep the peel on long.

I own my own microneedle pen and disposable needles and I wouldn’t even dream about doing that. I’ve been doing this for nearly 20 years. I have no visible pores, or wrinkles. @AmbreRenee ah so sorry to hear that. I didnt realise how involving these peels are. Iv seen that ur suposed to use like acetone or rubbing alcohol on ur skin for a few weeks before the peels to pull as much oil out of skin so the peels dont react with the oil in skin. Sounds like alot of effort. Thank you for making ur video tho it will help others make a more informed decision.
