Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Back in the day, the charts were filled with great songs like this. It's only now that, at age 66, I appreciate how fortunate we were. Thanks for keeping it alive Shawn.

Alan Parsons was the engineer of their first album, and Parsons produced Ambrosia's second album. All 4 members of Ambrosia played on Parson's first album ... "Tales of Mystery and Imagination."

"I'm wrong, wrong, wrong to keep holdin' on, my yesterdays have all gone by." Such a poignant line, delivered so perfectly. It really hit my heart as a teenager thinking about that certain girl... and still hits it just as hard now almost fifty years later.

hard to imagine that back then AMBROSIA got ROASTED for their bluesy softer rock sound. being into hard rock and metal i absolutely loved them. david pack's songwriting and voice were both impeccable and his songs have stood the test of time. looking back and listening to them now just reinforces my sentiment. still grabs me to this day.

You were talking about the artwork on the cover at the starts. In the70's, the album cover/artwork, was as big as the music inside the album jacket. That's why you see so much cool artwork back in the best era for music, the 70's.

David Pack's voice is so unique and flowing. For an obscure yet amazing vocal by David Pack is the song Ground Zero off the Seeds Of Change album by Kerry Livgren, formerly from the group Kansas. On this song Pack's vocals soar! Thanks for your reactions!

I remember when you would probably hear all the songs you have posted in the last couple of months all in one day on the radio, maybe cruising between different radio stations but still, this was the soundtrack to our lives on a regular basis, we were so blessed

I always felt this was the most exceptional of the band's hit singles. The word haunting comes to mind when thinking of this song. The band was certainly in the progressive rock camp during this stage of their history. And this song has a distinct Prog rock flavor for me.

Haunting vocals on this song are from David Pack but this is a band with 2 gifted lead vocalists, the other being Joe Puerta, who co authored this song with David. This is from their self titled debut album released in 1975 and it is PROG! Take time to listen to the entire album, NOT ONE BAD TRACK on it but the next reaction to hit from this band is the last song on this album, “Drink of Water”, you haven’t heard anything from these guys until you hit that masterpiece! There is a live version of this song on YT, search "Ambrosia - Holding On To Yesterday - 12/4/1976 - Capitol Theatre” and watch it, it’s amazing! Their second album is fire and Prog as well, "Somewhere I've Never Travelled” and the song to hit from that (for starts) is the opening 2 tracks, “And… Somewhere I've Never Travelled”. Alan Parsons was engineer on this album and on their second album he was both Producer and Engineer.

Ambrosia’s music may be considered quintessential Yacht Rock but man, they gave us some damn good songs! This one, You’re the Only Woman, How Much I Feel, Biggest Part of Me. Can’t go wrong with any of those.

I love Ambrosia, the lead singer is so good & they have great harmony. I don’t think I’ve heard this one before, but they could never sing a bad song with their soulful sound. 👍👏👏👏💜

Excellent reaction Shawn! To me this has always been one of those songs that just missed being a huge hit, while it absolutely should have been! It came out my senior year in high school, and so many great AM songs that year. Obviously these guys went on to have a bunch of huge hits, but this one is, and always has been my fave Ambrosia song!

Based on the Cover Art, are you suggesting Ambrosia was hitting the ambrosia? Seriously, I have never heard this song with headphones. Oh WOW, does it make a huge difference. This is a much better work than I had realized. It's almost prog rock. (oh, I am not alone)

Ambrosia is getting a lot attention. Firefall was another band that had great soft rock songs, Shawn. Don't think you've ever covered them and they were better than Ambrosia imo. But I'm still requesting Presence of the Lord by Blind Faith...studio version. Definitely NOT a soft rock song.🙏
