The city actually looks nicely detailed and full of life. Apparently there's some really intense crime scenes later on which will help separate this game from the more relaxed simulator games. Definitely going to try it!

O2 sat can be at 100 and yet still be suffocating cause Pulse Oximeters only read occupied hemoglobin cells. For example, a pt could be suffocating from carbon monoxide poisoning but pulse ox reads 100 cause the carbon monoxide is bonded to the blood cells and the pulse ox reads it as O2.

Not only what JacobBender said, but additionally patients can compensate for SOB by altering their breathing and therefore be struggling while maintaining a sat of 100. Treat the patient, not the monitor.

Yes, these ambulances are 2022 Mercedes Sprinter System Strobel Rettungswagen, these are used in Germany and Czechia, I work in hospital and these ambulances i see every day. Game is 99% literally copy of New York and these ambulances are the only one vehicle that aren't from north america. Authors don't answers questions on steam about this fail.

Yeah hoping we get stuff that resembles the offerings on a Ford or Dodge Chassis. Maybe a Cadillac Miller Meteor if they want to throw in an old school offering. Hopefully they don't start taking the kind of pattern PSPO did and started to introduce vehicles that LEOs in the US rarely use like Escalades, RAV4s and 4Runners.

Two questions….. 1) How does one take a leap from EMS work into tech work, let alone game dev? I’ve worked with some nurse informaticians (nurse > IT to allow certain IT teams medical insights), but that’s something else. Bravo. 2) If this is from the same team that Police Simulator is made by, why on Earth did they not combine forces to work on the same map to make it more detailed/dense/brilliant? Playing as either service in the same city with much more detail would be better….and maybe there could be some sort of multiplayer option/crossover so people playing on one game can mingle and play with those of the other game.

As a flight medic, I’m very concerned about the care that burn patient received…

So to start: Trauma triad of death: Hypothermia (low temp) Coagulopathy Acidosis The patient needed warmed and kept warm. Temperature of 86F is death, they are in severe hypothermia. Struggling to breath after being burned indicates airway swelling, or burns to the chest which is constricting the lungs and preventing chest wall expansion. The patient needs intubated as an airway precaution, before they have to have a surgical airway. Blood pressure is expected to be low due to third spacing of intracellular fluid so IV fluids are started pursuant to a burn formula (parkland, consensus, etc) Pain management is critical for these patients as burns HURT and increase the metabolism, so patients burn through pain meds. I really hope to see this game be very in depth with what I see here, but a patient still alive and breathing on their own at 86 F kind of concerns me for accuracy.

yeah so that matrix awakens thing was a demo/showcase for unreal engine 6 or whatever and they let developers use those assets for free kinda like a prefab for game development. making it so smaller developers can make original stuff easier.. a lot of great games have been coming out this way recently
