That's sick man. I was thinking of doing a cyberpunk build. I'd use a XJ drive train and LS swap. I do fabrication and fiberglass work myself so I'd make a custom front/rear bumper. I'd make the front look more like the DeLorean. The cluster would have to be digital.

Brady! Thanks for the great compliments, it means a lot and is always great to hear. Ugh, rust! Yeah, that can be the worst. Couple of spots to check that I noticed on one of my parts car was the spare tire well, and behind the front wheels. Luckily mine was in storage for a long time so wasn't too much rust, so i was able to concentrate more on the fun stuff! Let me know how your build is going. Tail light setup is awesome. If you have time that'd be a good one to cover somewhere. Are they stock tail lights and you just totally customized the actual lighting/bulbs? It's got a very 80's retro-futuristic look that fits great on these. Have an 83 wagon I'm slowly building and putting the $$ and time into it compared to other projects, would def use this tail light setup.

You out did yourself on this build! Shes beautiful Im actually in the process of getting an engine built for mine. Do you happen to have references pictures of the engine while it was out? I lost mine due to having to reset my phone and i cant figure out power steering or alt brackets

Hey Andy, Thanks for compliment. It's always good to hear from a fellow AMC Eagle owner. I used my Chilton manual as a reference, but I should have some video or pictures. The alternator bracket and power steering can be a little tricky and confusing as I also learned. Let me know, anything I can do to help.

Amazing build! I have an 83. The amount of detail is insane. I’ve seen so many Eagles that have just had lifts thrown at then and call it good but the sheer amount of detail and care put into this is so awesome! How long did this build take all in all? Also, I don’t know how you feel about them but have you considered specialty forged wheels for it?

I have been looking for the right style of wheel for the Eagle. There is a maroon SX4 that I've seen on KZbin that has a nice aftermarket set. Haven't figured out what they are yet.

Mine is burnt orange and is in very good shape. I believe it is mostly original if not all original. It’s ready for a restoration but is a very solid car. I need to get it out of the sun for the time being while it awaits the day I start on restoring it.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. When I got this Eagle it needed a lot of work. I tried to respect the origins of the car, but added some mods and had some fun with it. The body, drivetrain, engine, and interior are mostly all original with a little touch of my own. It's still an American classic, just a hot rod American classic now. And if hot rodding an American car isn't American, I don't know what is! Again, thanks for your feedback!

I don't like it, at all. But It's probably because I just really really hate builds like this. And especially "modern touch" as I think that its stupid and pointless. But it is put together really well, I'll give you that.

Hey Zackary, thanks for the feedback. I agree that with some cars they should just be left alone and rebuilt as stock as when the rolled off the factory floor. And then there are the one's like mine, with a bunch of modifications. But I respect your opinion and I thank you for complimenting the work that went into it. Cheers!
