Based On The Installation Of Train Tracks In The 1800's. Not As Good As "DEADWOOD", But In My Opinion, One Hell Of An EDGE OF YOUR SEATER.

I love AMC+ and I’m glad to see the final season of BCS airing on there! Normally I’d have to use Philo just to watch the final season but I’m glad that it’s going to be streaming and not just on traditional Live TV. One of these days they’ll have to make BCS and Breaking Bad exclusive on AMC+ that is unless Netflix gives them another huge offer to keep them on their platform.

Good review of what for me is one of the hidden gems of streaming services. I bailed on the Walking Dead universe a while back but I enjoy a lot of their other shows like Killing Eve and Better Call Saul plus all of the horror stuff on Shudder. I got a deal on the annual plan for $23.88 so for an average of $2 per month, it's a great value for me.

That is a really good value, especially since you're a fan of some of the shows. Agreed. It's not a fit for everyone, but for AMC fans it can be a decent option.

Not a fan of the walking dead. But they also carry horror stuff from Shutter and anime from Hidive. So for me, AMC+ is great value for the money.

Thanks for all your info on AMC+. I will wait and see how this improves in the future, so not getting it now. Only thing I need to check out online is what is "SHUDDER" category or tab??? And is this available on any other streaming venues??? Take care. Added: looks like Shudder channel contains mainly horror, Supernatural, etc type movies and specials. Says it has no commercials. Cost for just Shudder alone is $5.99 a month and will work on my PC. I have not tried it, just found info online about it. So with AMC+ for a few dollars more a month we would get Shudder channel.

Correct on the Shudder content. That's true on commercials, but they like to gloss over the fact that it's only on on-demand content. If they were to claw back TWD content we wonder if they might add commercial-free/commercial tiers like other services have done.

Somehow I've found myself watching a lot of vampire shows, I like all fantasy shows but vampires seem more plentiful. AMC+ is a good fit for me and I'm glad to see they have a big hit with Interview With a Vampire.

Great video, I've barely heard about this service until now! (Hmm I'll have to see if this is on the Xfinity flex, which I got for free for having Xfinity Internet). If I knew I could get it for $6.99, and it had all the seasons of walking Dead, I'd be more tempted. On a side note, listening to you talk, can you imagine all this just 10 years ago? 🙂

Yea, if they had all of the seasons that'd really be an upgrade. Maybe when their arrangement when Netflix ends. Ha, not at all. A decade ago was right around the time we cut the cord. No telling what we'll see in the next couple of years.

I tried signing up with it and in my opinion the value is just not there unless u cannot get AMC in any other way. I was disappointed by they only list the last 2 episodes of better call saul so if you missed like the last 4 episodes or something you are kinda screwed. You cannot watch better call saul newest episode early at all not even just a couple hours early. For walking dead they force you have have netflix on top of this one if you want to do any kind of binging between some of the last seasons till the latest season. Just kinda strange when their competition like disney, hulu, and paramount offers way more for the buck. On paramount they do not expire their latest episodes, you can binge watch all the episodes leading to the latest, etc... I signed up for AMC free trial, spent like 15 mins on their app and was frustrated more then anything and just canceled.

Can someone explain to me why I can't see episodes 1-4 of season 6?? (Better call saul). AMC+. For episode 5, there's a blue line that says "available until 6/7". What's exactly happens after? This is annoying because I was waiting for the entire season or half season to be available before I started viewing.

this is one of the reasons why i canceled after spending 15 mins on their app. I wanted to binge watch half of season 9 of walking dead all the way up to the latest of season 11 and I wanted to do some binging on better call saul. Very sad the expire the episodes on a service that we are paying for. I understand on the free side of things on their site but, on the premium side they need to stop thinking of network tv and start thinking of what their competition is doing and the expectation of the stream viewers. Paramount I can watch every single episode of star trek ever made, disney I can watch every star wars that is not in theater every made, so AMC needs to really do their proper research if they expect to ever grow properly as a streaming service. They almost had me as a customer but lost me just as quick because they decided to go outside of the expectation of a streaming viewer.

I tried it on a free trial and I thought it was OK, but not worth the money to me. I'm mostly interested in the BBC nature shows and the movies that they carry. I'm not a big zombie fan either, but for those who are, and have Hulu live tv and are ok with the price, it probably pairs up pretty well. They'll probably end up pulling their Walking Dead content from Netflix when their agreement runs out, like Disney did with their Marvel original series shows. Not having the first 10 seasons of TWD is a substantial gap in the lineup and I think they will be forced to pull both IT and FTWD from Netflix in order to satisfy potential subscribers and be a truly viable option.

Agreed on all counts. We think it's an ok service...but really only for the specific niches they cater to. The real value, in our opinion, comes from the early access they provide on some of their shows. You're probably not wrong on pulling back TWD shows. It'd definitely be to their benefit.

I got a good deal for 1.99 a month, if I paid for the year, $23. I am a walking dead and discovery of witches fan. But this app is slow and clunky and has had a lot of errors and tech issues, many online complained about it. It seems to be a little better lately, but I spent way too much time back and forth with their Cust support and they kept wanting info about my tvs and I kept saying the issue is not with my YV, it’s their app! Finally gave up. Found I had to uninstall and reinstall many times.won’t keep it when this year runs out.

when looking through the catalog of programming of amc plus for youtube i stay the heck away from the originals, the non-original tv stuff are ok like star trek reruns on bbc and the sitcoms the movie programming is more interesting

I get AMC with my regular channels in Canada and it is absolute garbage, the seem too edit way too much and I end up watching something else. Be nice to see it off the air
