Umm you may want to go look at the Cinebench rankings The fastest AMD GPU is slower then the 4060TI and just a nudge above a 3080. Hell the 2080TI would be the 3rd fastest GPU in the AMD lineup to this day. AMD is 9th overall currently for the RX 7900 XTX. Less then half the performance of the 4090. Stick to CPU's though because they are dominating Intel. More true Cores, way less power consumption and better performance and we won't even get into thermals. Intel is trying to melt the polar ice caps with theirs.

its sad that their most expensive card is their redeeming factor, and only because of their price. Anything lower than that 7900 XTX, and youre better off with Nvidia, as accurately shown by this video. I had a 6950 XT which would not stop crashing with by default. I had to underclock it for it to be stable, and even then, it still crashed depending on the game. Got a 4070 super and, even though its supposed to be less powerful, it ran games way better, the games looked better on the same graphic settings, I dont know why or how, cause I even checked the Nvidia control panel, and, most importantly, it didnt constantly crashed. Yes, I tried rolling back drivers and changing power supplies before swapping to the Nvidia card. Shortly after, I decided to quit gaming, so I returned the Nvidia card because I still had time to return it. Still have the 6950 XT installed just in case I decide to edit videos or something.

Man I always prefer AMD for gaming but of course been jumping back and forth.. but now getting into video editing, Ai/ML (stuff that requires tensor and cuda) I jumped back on with nvidia. Went from a RX 6800m 12gb (the chip is identical to desktop rx 6700 xt) to a RTX 4060 mobile 8gb and yes gaming is a slight lost but everything else was a gain. No more rocm work around and faster stable diffusion. I now have a asus G14 with the Ryzen 9 7940hs which if I want to use an amd gpu it has the 780m on the apu+rtx 4060. Got best of both worlds.
