They constantly gave me tickets and would threaten to arrest me for vagrancy. It was so demoralizing having to wake up at 3am and gamble again with another spot in the next town. I just started the van life with the crazy rent prices here in socal rn, I just pay someone $300 a month to park in their driveway. It’s totally worth it because I’m allowed to use the Wi-Fi, they have a bathroom in the detached garage, only time I sometimes see the home owners is when I shower inside the house, and they even allow me to hook up to water and electric when I’m parked there. The worst part at first was definitely finding low key parking spots overnight, but now I can park without anyone ever bothering me again😁
