Amelia Anisovych: Ukrainian girl who sang ‘Let It Go’ in bomb shelter performs national anthem

A seven-year-old Ukrainian girl who went viral for singing Let It Go in a Kyiv bomb shelter has performed a moving rendition of the national anthem at a charity concert.
Amelia Anisovych, who was recorded singing the famous Disney song while sheltering from Russian attacks, is now in Poland after fleeing across the border with her family.
On Sunday evening she opened a charity concert at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, singing in front of thousands of people.

I kinda know where you're coming from. I've always been "the rock" of my family when it requires me to take charge of a situation. At times I've had to play the role of a ruthless disciplinarian, an uncaring tyrant & heartlessly imposing work roles onto my children. Deep down though I'm none of those things. I hate punishing my children even when they've done wrong. I hate hearing them cry, I hate seeing them desperately pleading for me to forgive them & let something slide. I hate refusing the whims & desires of my family like a tyrant, imposing budgetary restraints & refusing to grant their wishes. I hate also having to force them to participate in spring clean up, doing yard work, & deep cleaning their rooms but I know it's something that's necessary. So often I feel that I shouldn't be forced into this position. They know the household rules. They know that their rooms are their responsibility. They know that we tackle major endeavors as a family. They know we're not wealthy enough to just decide to throw money away on a whim no matter how much they might want something. The fact that the missus gets to acts as the "good guy" in this elaborate play is painful in a way. They go to her to seek leniency, for her to get for them what they want or breaks after working hard for a while so that they can pick it up later or the following day. She gets it, she knows her role well enough to know what can & can't be done. As such she comes out as their friend & supporter while I forever remain the "heel." I know that she doesn't have the heart to play the role that I do, because she will literally break down, she's tried. That softhearted nature of hers is part of why I fell in love with her nearly 26 years ago in the first place. When she found me I was a man that had been crushed by a nonsensical situation a year prior from which I had not recovered. Yet she was the one that patiently put me back together again without any sign of jealousy or resentment that I wouldn't genuinely get over what had happened for nearly a decade. She's the only person that knows I suffer from this dynamic arrangement & the only person in my family I ever show my tears to. In a way it's a way of validating who I really am inside while also showing her, at the very least, that I'm not some kind of heartless monster. When I'm alone like this, in the early AM hours, I'm allowed to let my emotions be natural & of course I was moved by the performance of little Amelia.

@Piotr Sieradzki Historię znam na tyle dobrze, że wiem, że kluczowe państwa czyli Anglia i Francja nam nie pomogły. Owszem Rumuni nam pomogli przyjmując naszych u siebie lecz nie wyslali nam żadnej broni i musieliśmy walczyć sami, przestarzałym sprzętem co robimy obecnie dla Ukrainy wysylając im wsparcie. Tak samo Węgrzy, którzy nie pomogli nam w 1939 oprócz odmowy przemarszu wojsk niemieckich i przyjęciu naszych. Mi głownie chodzi o działanie na rzecz w tym przypadku Ukrainy.
