If I'm guessing correctly, Forde's spd/def self-debuff and unity combo is a nod to him being a slacker and how he uses his laziness to catch his foes off guard.

Amelia - pretty cool, though I too wish she was a paladin or at least great knight (since she has Obsidian Tactics). I have to say though - her armor design bothers me. I know it's supposed be a variant of her base version's armor, but this one looks even less practical and lacks the cool factor to justify it. Forde - very nice, I wonder if that start of turn penalty is a reference to how he has the worst stats of all the cavs despite being the highest level :D Niavellir (another one of those OC's with unpronouncable names) - pretty cool, though I didn't expect he would be added so quickly, considering Fafnir still doesn't have a base version :D Eirika - not a fan. She is guaranteed to get emblem version and she already has a billion alts. And I might be wrong about this, but her kit seems very toxic - if you don't have a unit to deal with her, she will buldoze your whole team, similar to emblem Ike. Oh, and it's nice to see Kyle as well. He's a demote so his kit probably won't matter.

Gust is pretty much Vital Astra with a higher cooldown, bit more dmg, but its dr is unpierceable like the "armored" specials or emblem Ike effect. Vital Astra is pretty useless now. Kinda bummed that they made another Eirika modeled after Ephraim, especially since I feel Wada's CYL art did it much better. As someone who loves Eirika, they should have given the attuned slot to someone else.

As much as I love Eirika, I would have loved another unit get the attuned treatment. Innes maybe? 🤔

I was so caught up with the second summer banner for this year, that I forgot there's another banner coming. Cool to see Amelia have another alt at last. Nice to see Erika get a Attuned unit too. Although I don't think I'll summon much on this banner since I'm already focusing on the other summer banner. I wish you luck on this banner!

I just reached Focus Charge on that Engage Summer Banner, and all I'm missing in Alear.

Amelia being dependent on bonuses makes her feel DOA to me. Same problem as prime skills. I guess she could be good in aether raids if you have some sort of nergal counter/killer.

@@rocketgalFE I just max out my emblem Ike’s favor on summoner duels and I swear nergal was on like 75% of the teams I faced 😭
