I couldnt agree more, completely fascinating. I would love to have a tour guide like him if I’m ever lucky enough to make it over there. It’s so refreshing to hear someone give the plain truth straight outta Gods word, no sugar coating , or beating around the bush just straight truth.

The problem becomes in the dating of Amenhotep III. He no longer is thought to be from 1410 BC but from 1385 BC. This is outside the range of the early date Exodus. A new photograph of the Soleb inscription seems to show the second bird as a falcon not a chick thus it's name is yhw just as the Amara-West Temple Inscription.

You're looking for something that isn't meant for you all to find - Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Amenhotep III seems to have lived somewhat later than the time of Moses according to newer research. The inscription comes from well after, and also, the Berlin Pedestal - from around Amenhotep III's time as well - also mentions Israel in the same context as the Merneptah Stele, indicating Israelites were already a force to be reckoned with in Canaan in the time of this Pharaoh. Such evidence argues well that conventional dates for Pharaohs in this period are too early. Ancient Egyptian didn't have vowels. So to point to those symbols and say this is 'Ya' this is 'weh' is misleading. 'Yahweh' may b a popular form of the name like Jehovah, but it doesn't have much support. It seems more likely it was Yahowah. The Egyptian spelling is actually Y•H•W'•W. A final long A as in 'wall' suits the use of a final W, but not a long é sound as with 'Yahwéh'. Ancient Israelites in the 6th- Centuries BCE and early Christians in the first centuries CE who spelled it in Aramaic and Greek frequently indicated YAHO as an abbreviation, giving attention to the most prominent sounding part of the Name, which then suggests Yahowah.

We have evidence that Amenhotep II is the pharaoh of the Exodus, we also have the Amarna letters recording the conflict with Joshua coming into the Promised land. We have the longest historical narrative in the world, the Bible, which is used as a tool in archaeology to identify places, people and historical events. I lead Biblical tours through the British Museum and the Bible records historical events with the Assyrians, Egyptians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, etc and the evidence from these extra biblical accounts corroborate God’s description in His Word! 👍😊
