About the tax evasion joke, it doesn't apply to normal citizens or even companies, but to big companies who create a lot of jobs and export/import for the Netherlands receive so many tax cuts, it's nearly free of tax. Big example was Royal Dutch Shell, even Microsoft!

No. It's due to ZZP'ers not paying income tax when profits are below the threshold. Multinationals often funnel money through Netherland, via Ireland, by setting up a single employee company; that makes no profit. Then claim they paid tax on their profits in NL to avoid paying in their home state

And there's no tax on royalties, so many artists like The Rolling Stones and U2 are officially in Amsterdam. Also, companies like Starbucks make use of this by charging their franchises royalties for the recipes instead of just profits, and thus not paying taxes.

Lee Towers is a singer in the style of Frank Sinatra. "Classic pop" with lot of backing from Big Bands and such. He is most famous by many for a move he does with his arm during some songs (called "the elbow" by some). Altough not doing "the move" his voice was at its best when he grew older. The tax evasion thing is half-true. Not for YOU and YOUR company, but it is for massive companies that give us tons of export/import and such. They get a lot of blind eyes to what they're doing because they're bringing in things that other companies can in turn use to produce things. Then those companies producing things will get taxed double as much. The Netherlands is very good at screwing over the little guy =)

We accept and respect refurties and help them so good is possible !
