Thanks again to Vessi! Click the vessi.com/timlee and use my code TIMLEE to get $25 off of your Vessi shoes. Vessi’s are my go to pair of sneakers! Glad to visit Houston, Texas with the Vessi's as there was a lot of exploring in this great city! Whether walking in my city or exploring new places, they keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter; and most importantly, they keep you dry in the rainy Vancouver weather. They are also the sneakers I wear when traveling and exploring new cities, and so glad to see travel opening up again. Finally, no more wet socks at home or when traveling!

Just for clarification, the round yellow cake is not bánh cống. It’s called bánh khọt. Bánh cống is made in different batter, and we usually add shrimp, mung bean in a ladder and deep fried it. While bánh khọt is made from banh xeo batter but we pour the batter in a special similar to takoyaki pan (khuôn bánh khọt or bánh khọt pan). Different cooks will make different banhkhot outcome. Some like them crispy so they add more oil in the pan while some add little. Some can add a little condense coconut milk on top so it’s taste creamier. Hope my info help!

People have made comments that she vomits up the food from the challenges which is a horrible thing. And to have to do that on a regular basis is insanity and unhealthy. People have also made comments saying that when she is 40, her stomach will be like a 80 year old. No culinary professors has come out to defend her against these comments about how unhealthy it’s to do this on a practically every single day basis.

Crawfish are extremely hard to find here in Toronto. I would go to this buffet for the crawfish alone. What a great deal!

Must try the biggest buffet in Houston, Tim, while you are here. Feast Buffet at 1707 N Fry Road, Katy, Texas. David has been there too. Weekday lunch is only 12.99/person. It has over 300 items including fried scallops.

I was there a couple weeks ago. went there on a weekday, they didn't have a gigantic plate of crawfish for us. i was told they only have crawfish on the weekends. i had a great time with lots of good foods!

Tim, now you have me going. I make a pretty darn good pile of chicken feet though hard to find locally. I am going to find my way to this buffet someday. All the nicest places. 👍Best

LoL Tom, actually, they were probably one of the better chicken feet I've had.. really tender, and grilling set it over the top...

@@malisadominguez2744 Thank you so much for your very kind offer! I'm back home in Vancouver and it was a short but very wonderful trip! I can see the great southern hospitality from you as well! I must say that Houston is certainly one of my favourite cities! People are great! (downtown parking, not so much😉)

Ohhh.. quite excited to hear about your visit and definitely check this place out (and check there site because they offer the crawfish only on Fridays at the time I was there). There's also a really great Mexican place called Xochi that offers one of the best Mexican brunch buffets on Sundays. Wishing you a great visit and watch out for the humidity!
