Anchorage with unwelcomed excitement. Wowza! A lot of loopers are posting their boats for sale as they cross their wake. You have a perfect loop boat. We bought our boat for the Loop and Beyond. I saw you on AIS yesterday though by the time we caught up you were moored. I did wave as we went by and dock not too far from you. Don’t think are paths will cross. We will leave and head to Texas for the winter ❄️. Job well done docking. Safe cruising. MV Cetus.

Night and day dealing with locks from the first locks to now. Remember thinking you were going to turn around after that first one?

I remember that day well. Yes, once I got the balance of the boat down it was a piece of cake.

Holy crap!!!! Bullets on the Loop! First time I heard that this has happened on the Loop!! Every day is an adventure, eh???? Glad you are okay!

We hear distant gunshots almost every day on the Southern river system. You are really out in the sticks.

Great video’s.. I’ll have to go back to the start, I picked you up coming down the Illinois River, we live just west of St. Louis, MO… I would love to do this trip, but the Wife is a big “no”…. Maybe someday… safe travels!

Ya sell it and get a sweet shallow drafting ship with an outboard 👍. I'll be starting on my Great Loop adventure within a few weeks, and I'm in a 32' tritoon house boat with an out board gas. But I don't use the gas one unless I need a burst of speed for safety since I also have twin electric motors and a bunch of solar that can move me through most any water conditions slowly.

Wow, that sounds very cool. I hope you have a wonderful time on the Loop.

Another great video of your travels. By the way, my being a non fisherman for some years now, what kind of fish was that? Did you catch it at the marina? Looks like it would last weeks for dinner.
@MV_Checkmate28 минут бұрын
It’s a Redfish. I must confess that I did not catch it. I was at WestMarine and struck up a conversation with the guy there about fishing and he said that he just got back from fishing and caught two redfish and he gave me one of them. Made my day!

you're getting political content cause you keep watching it. Stop acting like it finds you for no reason.

The small ranger tugs will be uncomfortable in the keys and Bahamas. I've seen people do it, but it's def not comfortable.
@MV_Checkmate23 минут бұрын
Why is that?
@Steve-qn8gn16 минут бұрын
@@MV_Checkmate The are pretty unstable from a comfort level due to length and width. I know you ran into some of that on the meridian but I bet it will be twice as bad on a 27ft ranger due to length and width. There are def pros and cons, I guess it depends what you are willing to deal with.
