These were anything but secret. Every issue of Soorts Car Graphic showed yet another DNF by the factory driver, Jerry Titus. Even Mark Donohue (aka Caotain Nice) said all you have to do is hit it a little, and they just spin and spin and spin. The only reason one might call the secret was they were an embarrassment. For God's sake, they even had drum brakes!
